Lol, it was a set of 1950s cutlery, made by Gense of Sweden. The style is called Focus De Luxe and the 15 pieces sold for £36.50 which isnt as much as I hoped judging by past sales but it was early on a lovely Sunday evening so maybe everyone was out lol. Inclued in the £3 purchase price was a salt, pepper and sugar shaker set by the same maker which didnt sell.

I usually suggest you don't identify your auctions on here and in your case it may be wise to remove your post. You are a business and not trading as such and that annoys a lot of people and you may find yourself reported and/or suspended quite quickly.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm not a business Soolin. I sold one item, that does not make a business. I am a non tax payer, made redundant from my job last year and struggling so it would be a mean spirited person who reports me for that.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

You bought items to sell on and that makes you a business. believe me people will report you which is why I suggested you removed the link from your post quickly.
This thread is great and I really enjoy it, but don't forget that all of us buying to resell are businesses and should be registered as such.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Being a registered business doesn't necessarily make you legal, we all know self employed people don't declare every bit of income (do jobs for cash etc) so no need to act holier than thou!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I have obviously touched a nerve and I can't see why you have gone completely off topic with accusing properly registered sellers of not declaring everything. Was that just aimed at me or of all the wonderful people on this thread?
I'm sorry if you feel guilty but stating on an open forum like this that you bought something and then sold it on ebay *and* then show your details just seemed foolish to me. I don't police HMRC or even ebay, but if you want to get away with something it is probably best to keep it quiet.
I have always assumed that everyone on this great thread that buys to resell is properly registered as otherwise no doubt the thread would be deleted as MSE does not advocate defrauding HMRC.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I know this, speak to self employed tradesmen and you will find out for yourself. I wasn't talking about you personally Oliver14 as you weren't even on this thread when I posted!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I bought a lovely little 50s sewing box on legs for £3. I've been searching for one to buy on eBay for weeks but with postage they always seem a bit too expensive. Its got plastic dividers inside and even came with a cute little oriental pin cushion - my mum had the same pin cushion when I was little.
I also got a lovely pale pink 80s dress (50p) which I am going to shorten, a summery mint green 80s dress (£2), a ralph lauren shirt for work (£3) and a pair of Jasper Conran raffia floral wedges (£1) which are very "in" - all the high street retailers are selling this sort of thing for summer
It was a lovely warm morning Sunday so there were so many stalls. I'm trying to be more picky and not buy so much stuff that I won't wearNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -
Has anyone done well with selling on vintage hand made childrens clothing ? It isn't a market I know anything about and it isn't an easy one to do a completed listing search for on ebay.
I've seen a 1960s starched cotton dress in a chintz pattern for a girl, ballerina length with the skirt lined in 'faux' satin and with a little bit of a soft tulle to make it stand out , that is absolutely adorable. No labels but in really excellent condition. The dealer will come down to £3.50 for me but I just wasn't sure. Dealer also had vintage evening dresses and was prepared to deal with me at trade for £15 a go, but the waist line on them was tiny...the women back then must have been as slim as reeds.
She also tried to offload fox and stoat 'collars' but I couldn't bear a dead animal draped around my neck, ugh.
