Just wanted to say, Treacle Toes, your website looks fab and what a great idea! And I agree with OP, goanmad you are an inspiration to us all, I just wish I had your eye for vintage!0 -

Jumble Sale today was so much better than I thought it would be - lots of yummy mummies running the stalls, everything was priced at 50p or three items for £1.
I got:-
an Italian Leather handbag
Old fashioned stoneware mixing bowl (I've been after one of these for ages, reminds me of my Nan's baking!)
Lots of clothes for DS & DD - mostly Boden, Matthew Williamson, Joules etc (the jumble was in a very affluent area!)
Whistles top, Next shorts and M&S Top for me.
Old clasp-fastening handbag with the label Peter M Alan of London - have Googled but can'd find anything, but again it reminded me of my Nan:A
Handmade crocheted pram blanket, which is destined for eBay, as I've sold this type of thing before and know they sell well.
Bugaboo waterproof 2 in 1 jacket for Hubby.
I only spent £4:j0 -
The jumble I went to was also in a very afluent area but pretty rubbish compared to what it used to be. My haul is still in the car as I've worn myself out rummaging and couldn't be bothered to unpack (lazy)
I got some nice vintage shirts including a small checked Jaeger one which will look nice belted over some skinny jeans. I also got a lovely 50s book on fashion but I can't remember what its called. Will post again tomorrow when I've got it all out
I also spent £4
EDIT - my darling husband went to the car for me
These are my favourites
4 books for 30p - including this fabulous 1955 Gala Performance hardback with wonderful photos
and this silver plated pedestal bowl from Pakistan for 20p. I am going to keep all my bangles and bracelets in it on our dresser - its so pretty and over the topNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550 -

Another long time lurker here!
I went to a car boot today and had a lovely time. I've posted about my haul on the shabby chic forum but felt the need to brag here too about my best buy: 2.5litre unopened tin of Farrow and Ball Oil Eggshell for £8!!!! Now unavailable in oil eggshell, it used to sell for over £40!!!
I hope the weather is nice again tomorrow- I have the bug!0 -
This has really been a good week - is it the spring clear-out season? I was clearing out anyway, things I don't see me wearing this spring, and was in 3 CS yesterday. The haul was -
A Masons Ironstone tureen in "Chinese Peony" pattern (about 1900) for £7.50 - no lid, but it's a big decorative piece!
A pair of Elmdale brand new shoes in my size £3
Black cashmere v-neck £2.25
Pale blue Escada Sport vintage twinset, also cashmere £3.00
Leopard-print silk scarf £1.00
Silver seahorse brooch (about 2½" long, and hallmarked) £3.000 -
I got a Shetland Cashmere hand-knitted jumper, in a lovely burnt yellow colour, was only £1.50. It did smell slightly of smoke but a couple of washes (with a line blow in-between) and then dried flat, and it is like new

A vintage Collingwood tea set for £4.50. Really pretty, small rose and forget-me-not design. 6x cups and saucers, 6 tea plates, creamer, sugar bowl and sandwich plate. I've recently started collecting them, quite addictive isn't it?A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
