Hello all!

At ThriftyBelle's request I taken the liberty of starting a new thread for us second-hand lovers to show-off our bargains.
Please feel free to share any amazing finds you've made recently, don't forget to tell us how much you've paid and what you intend to do with your purchases.

Our last thread inspired many people who'd never considered buying second-hand to explore their local charity shops and car boot sales. Hopefully we'll encourage more people to save their pennies, benefit charities and help save the planet by recyling other folks' cast-offs.

If any of you guys are interested I've started a daily blog sharing my finds and offering vintage hunting tips to anyone interested. Click on my user name and select my homepage and feel free to comment or ask questions - it'll be great to see you!

I have recently returned to 'booting' after moving to the NE and just love it.

With a 10mth granddaughter you can imagine how tempting everything is. Because I go every week though, I limit myself to buying only a couple of things.

    This morning I picked up

    ELC toddler truck £1
Usborne 'That's not my.....' books. 2 for 50p
Boots wind up musical alarm clock. 20p
    Next hooded coat £1

Oh and 3 Nigel Slater cookery books for me............... £1

Never let it be said I get carried away!

    Can't wait till next week.

I haven't been to a car boot for a while but recently got a fantastic ebay bargain.

Its a genuine Links of London sweetie bracelet with a genuine charm for £30.00, I had £20.00 in my paypal so in my head it only really cost me £10.00.:D

I love it and its an early Christmas pressie to me.

Oh fab! That really is a bargain. I have one too (Christmas present from OH) and love collecting the little charms for it. Well done on such a great buy!

I've just got back from a mini boot sale at our local care home. There were only a few stalls so not many bargains to be had, but I did find a Braun hand blender for £1.50 (wanted one for ages, they sell for around £15 on eBay!) and a current Topshop necklace for £1 (£14 in the store) so that was quite good.

I also got a BNWT Principles high waisted tulip skirt on eBay for £5.50.
