I also gave up on my first online order, as most of the stuff had gone from my basket, and yes I did order early yesterday. Well done to those whose went through ok.

I went instore instead and managed to pick up a few bargains, one of which wasn't available in my size online (see here), so am still pleased.

my whole order is on its way. It's a hit or a miss really because of the delayed stock levels.
  • went in store and got loads of new knickers, no boots on sale though :(

Hi Maybe worth a look in your local store as been back to mins today and got 2 more items which weren't there the other day and nice too, was told that they are putting new stuff out as had coats too they are emptying the warehouse i was told
  • I had an email from M&S this morning to tell me that an order I placed 2 weeks ago for Per Una lingerie (arrived with me on Monday) had been delayed

Phoned them and explained that I had already recieved the goods and they advised they had been despatched again!?
So I have to take the goods back and get a refund apparently.

My other 2 sale orders she confirmed were on their way and the status has changed on my account online to 'coming soon' so looking hopeful ish?!:D

Eh? So, they sent the item(s) twice and charged you twice (their error) so you have to take them back? Surely, they should be doing the running around and getting the order picked up? If you need to take them to the store at least claim your expenses from them!

Just a warning to those of you taking back items from online orders.

Check your refund amounts very very carefully. I spotted that I had not been given the right amounts back and emailed them. At first they said they were right - so I explained my calculations. Total price paid minus refunds came to a few pounds more than the cost of the items I had kept! They emailed back apologising and have now given me some money back.

However, as the refunds are automatically calculated, it suggests to me their calculations are wrong.

It's made me decide to go back and check previous orders. Going to do that tonight.

Well they've charged me for the first order but not for the second duplicate order yet :D (I'm sure they will though)

Yes youre right really - they should get the order collected from me and refund my card but to be honest from previous experiences with them (this has happened before) I would rather get rid of them in the store and get my correct refund to my card there and then.

Could well be. I have just had a shufti through the menswear and there are lots of things with limited sizes available.

I have found that sizes are limited as well, very annoying for a 5'11", size 9, 40" chest, etc etc average man, all of these go quickest!
