I guess so Elephant - however if I was going to get a duplicate order I would far rather it be a sale oneand the order I've got 2 of I placed pre sale - still waiting to hear about my sale order like many others!;)

I've never ordered in the M&S sales before, wish I'd noted how iffy it all is. I placed my order the first morning and am awaiting a despatch email still. Oh well, as long as they don't charge me shipping if they deduct some items and make my total under 30 quid, I guess I can't complain. Think I'll skip the next one though, lol
I have a cancelled item which has taken my order to under £30, the free delivery is still showing though.0 -
half of the items of my order have been cancelled...arghhhhh!
It is worth checking out your local store. In mine loads of clothes had been missed as they weren't put with the sale items (an oversight?), and although the tags hadn't been discounted went through at sale price at the tills.0 -
I placed my order on Mon evening around 10pm and finally got my dispatched e-mail this evening... and apparently all 4 items are in stock and on there way.. phew !!! Although I won't get too excited until they arrive..0

i paid to have it delivered tomoz and looks like everything is out of stock:( what a swizz0

A good way to see if there is enough stock is to try ansd add 20 of the item you want to your basket...
If it let's you, then you can be sure that you'll get one of them...
If the sysatem says there are only 2 or 3 available, you know your taking a little gamble and might get that dreaded 'out of stock' email
Good luck for the huge sale starting at 10PM on Christmas Eve!0 -
Just a warning to those of you taking back items from online orders.
Check your refund amounts very very carefully. I spotted that I had not been given the right amounts back and emailed them. At first they said they were right - so I explained my calculations. Total price paid minus refunds came to a few pounds more than the cost of the items I had kept! They emailed back apologising and have now given me some money back.
However, as the refunds are automatically calculated, it suggests to me their calculations are wrong.
It's made me decide to go back and check previous orders. Going to do that tonight.
You might find it is the postage cost, if the postage was £3.50 for 10 items then I guess it is 35p per item, this is automatically deducted from your refund aswell as the VAT. Obviously a different number of items = different amount of postage per item.Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)
