I wouldn't go near them and if that is a company represent on here they are not doing themselves any favours with that attitude and poor grammar/spelling mistakes.

I haven't heard anything yet - I am waiting for a form in the post to fill in and return before they proceed with anything.

I would contact HSBC and ask them to make a charge back against the company, don't waste your time trying to get a voluntary refund from them.

I reckon Inactive is right, you will probably have an easier time trying to get your refund off of HSBC.

But HSBC was the website I paid through with my credit card. Surely the credit card company will be claiming the chargeback from HSBC?

No, that is just the company they use to process their online transactions, the actual money will be taken from the account held by tvsdirect2u.

Trust me, contact HSBC and insist on a charge back as you have not received item/s that you have paid for.

The best thing about " charge backs " is the company (tvsdirect2u) will get levied an additional surcharge by HSBC for messing you about.

Right, I mis-read it as well then. budster contact your own credit card provider and seek a charge back against tvsdirect2u as outlined above.
