I'm getting rather peckish now too, especially after watching Saturday Kitchen this morning!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I have done nothing...well actually thats not true...I have done three tax returns and started a set of accounts....sad cow I am.

Just watched 'my big fat cycle challenge' very interesting programme about the olympic cycling team training four women as athletes....involves a chap called dr steve peters who says we have an inner chimp who is responsible for all the emotional stuff we do....was interesting but I don't seem to be able to find out more info. He used to work at Rampton........

I am tired and ill and Mum is doing the classic my sister perfect conversation and subtley putting me down. Its freaking marvellous. I am so lazy. what with my two jobs and my 12 hour days. I didn't realise the way to be ing prodctive and useful was to live with a rich guy and not work.

Agree with her. Take what she says and see how far you can subtly build it up into satire.

Challenge: Get your mother to agree your sister farts fairy bubbles which smell of lavender...

Oh BB I was under the impression you didn't 'do' town or else I would have said fancy a coffee, we went in that nice place (well i think so anyway) outside the dolphin centre....can't remember what it was called but it used to be wimpy.

for you, jacs I would 'do' town :D I know where you mean - I don't know what it's called (I didn't even know the wimpy had gone :rotfl:)

I think I may have a hole or 'something' in my exhaust. I've noticed over the last week that when I go up the driveway it's a bit more 'grunty' and when I rev generally it seems to have a louder, low noise. I had 2 back boxes fall off my Carlton (literally, they snapped at the joint) so I'm now a bit paranoid

Might be a hole - might be a loose joint. Have a look and see what you can see.

Alternatively, the chocolate drop fairy might have replaced it with a boy-racer one...
