Wow it's quiet round here today!!
I'm just back to reality after a week with my gorgeous OH in (mostly) sunny Spain. And now it's housey time. Will update all in my diary shortly but will be checking in everyday again to keep up with targets and challenges and in the hope that you lot will keep me inspired and motivated.
Love and hugs to all who need them.

:hello: Lilliboo...nice to see you...
There is something very wrong with me...maybe Ellidee got it right with the magnesium....I feel so much better today than I have done for months...coincidence maybe! We shall see.
I haven't had a headache for two days and I haven't even wanted a chocolate bar.....
I have tidied a bit more of my office, filed more paperwork, sorted loads and loads of stuff out and my head generally feels a lot clearer.
I hope your respective OH's are okay Sally and Pooky.....I am going out in a bit but will be back later.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Not a clue money wise Pap.....I'm sure it will all sort itself out but when you don't know where this months rent is coming from it's a bit
We don't want to enter into a DMP or the like as we should in theory get an intirim payment from the insurance company that will cover everything each month....just a question of when...
Wonder how Sallys DH is getting on....anyone heard from her?"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Hi Sammy
feel like I have missed so much being gone for a week, whats happened with Sal's OH?? I hope he's on the mend anyway.
And why is it so quiet today...everyone must be being very productive...wish I could say the same for myself, haven't even unpacked anything yet...its just too cold.

If only I could let them know that I want Jaffa Cakes - not chocolate buttons - and definitely not white ones :rotfl:
I wonder if someone is leaving them as treats for charie?
Or it could be someone with a hole in their pocket who never gets all the way home with their chocolate :rotfl::A

Afternoon everyone
Toto - what course are you doing (I'm sure I've read it before but can't for the life of me remember)? OOh, before I forget, everything is gorgeous but the little pink mothercare coat you sent is especially lovely because everyone Evie and meet admires her in it. Thank you!
I'm waiting for a pair of curtains to end on Ebay - they're nice and long and will be just perfect in the living room but I'm waiting until a minute before the auction ends before deciding to bidbut I've already pre-set my personal maximum so I'll not go above it... I MUST BE STRONG even though the curtains are so perfect for the room!
AM also wondering if the wine I opened last weekend will be ok to drink or do I need to buy a new bottle (£3 but is lovely and fruity)!DFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debtnever attribute anything to malice which can be adequately explained by stupidity, [paranoia or ignorance] - ZTD&[cat]

Sammy - yes we should be able to get HB (although it won't cover the entire rent)....got someone doing a home visit about that on monday...did a phone application for income support, need to send things off on Monday (after HB have seen the originals), they all take time to process though so not sure when we'll get any money in....we've got a few grands worth of overdaft available if we get desperate in the mean time.
As for the bake.....it was 2 chicken breasts, a third of a chorizo ring, a large onion and some peppers, all fried off until cooked, a good spoon of paprika, half a tea spoon of chilli powder, a pack of passatta (or a couple of tins of toms)...all mixed in a lidded oven proof pot with dry pasta....then add a pint of boiling water and stir to mix....oven at gas 7 for about 45 mins, adding some grated cheese and leave uncovered for the last 15 mins."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. and their route home means walking up my driveway as far as the front door when the chocolate falls out and then they walk back down it to the path unawares :rotfl:
Right..........OH is out tonight apparently. He hasn't appeared here in a flying rush yet (although his beloved Man Utd have only just stopped playing so he'll be somewhere watching that  ) so as he hasn't asked for a lift, I am kicking back and opening a bottle of cider:beer:
