SRM - that was exactly what happened with Mr Sunday. I really didn't want to go, in fact I cried in the car on the way there :o but within minutes of meeting him I felt comfortable in his company, and by the time we got to the pub, you would never have known it was the first time we met.

Then again, look how that turned out.

But yep, I do hate weekend on my own without adult company, so I'll go and see what happens.

Might be a hole - might be a loose joint. Have a look and see what you can see.
Me? Under a car? I'd never get back out again even if I could get under there! :rotfl:

Alternatively, the chocolate drop fairy might have replaced it with a boy-racer one...

don't....._pale_ OH will eat anything (in particular chocolate) and even he hasn't had the nerve to eat any of the packets which were left in case there was anything wrong with them!! I wonder if I'll come back to a bumper crop of them left by the door.

I think it's natural Snags to feel this way - bit of nerves - you've never met before being asked out and there's all the thoughts of will you like him, will he like you etc.

Just see it as time outside the house with adult conversation and nothing more - it will then feel much more relaxed.

    Have a lovely evening Snaggs.

Pap - where are you going on your holiday?

BB - Have you had any further visits from the chocolate button fairy?

I made a lovely chicken and chorizo pasta bake for tea, very tasty and DD's both had 3rd helpings.

DH is in serious amounts of pain tonight and having extreme spasms.....going to help him into the bath in a bit and then get all the wheaty heat bags fired up for him to climb into bed with, he got some new tablets to help with the muscle spasms but they knock him out for about 16 hours, not ideal when you want to be part of family life.

No just stick your head down with a torch and see if you can see rust, or hear where the noise is coming from.

They're in a sealed packet...though you could always leave them out to wipe out any cats crapping on your lawn...

    A chocolate button tree... ;)

Wales... I have vowed to make it a free/caravan holiday this time though. I cant wait to be honest I just need to get away from life for a while. Sitting in a box day in day out untill you have to go to work for 4 hours is kinda getting on top of me now

So sorry you OH seems to be suffering tonight. Have you heard anything back for the hospital? I hope he has his op soon and hopefully 'normal' life can resume, well as normal as life can be

I love wales, when do you go?

We had to give our holiday over to my aunt and uncle, we had a caravan booked in Cornwall for half term week......but that's life.

DH has an appointment with an orthapeadic surgeon on Tuesday but they are likey to just try and hurry up the Neuro appointment at Kings due to his legs going numb. Think I might be seeing a lot of the Christmas lights in London this year

2 weeks ago. They were arriving around every 6 weeks, always on a Tuesday between 6 and 9. It stopped after about 4 or 5 times but it's started again

If only I could let them know that I want Jaffa Cakes - not chocolate buttons - and definitely not white ones :rotfl:

Ahh I knew you had something coming up. Sorry you will be back and forth to hospitals and stuff. I hope he gets better soon. Have you heard anymore about the amount of money you wil be recieving?
