At this point in time, I can't even get the hoover into my bedroom, yet alone push it around!!

I will start today - just to give myself a good start with the £10 scratch money and my client money that I will get later today.

I do have the opportunity to make money - clients and downloads in particular, but I have to put the effort in.......I am hoping that by clearing the house and getting it tidy, I am also giving myself the "space" (mentally and physically) to work a bit more.

It is all linked on so many levels!

You are sooo right, and I just wrote a long post about that which was promptly swallowed up by the Gods of Blank Space.

    Anyway, the gist of it:

    1) Pleased with selling on Ebay results: am appreciating the increase in space easily as much as the money. Need to carry on cracking on with this.

    2) Have realised that I want to live as simple a life as possible so I will do my best not to get any more rubbish. I even have stupid amounts of bathstuffs which I am trying to use up n a bd to create more space (Join the No buying new toiletries etc until.... challenge here, folks!)

    3) Indian head massage course not running this Jan, but have the choice of 8 week waxing course and 15 week false nail course. The former is more useful to me, personally, but I could potentially earn more money from the latter. Had decided on the waxing course, but am wondering if I should not try the other as i could potentially earn more £ from it. Hmm...Whaddyathink?

    4) If you are tryng for £5000 from MSE-ing, will aim for £2000. It's worth a go!

  • Hi Hypno

I lost December somewhere so wanted to get in early and wish you a happy new year to you all. Hope you enjoyed the delights of Pontypool if you can remember that far back. Glad you had good hols.

I can so relate to the cluttered house/low mental state, lol! I am desperate to do some major decorating in my living room this year. I can't do it myself because I am disabled and I only work part time but it will take some major discipline to get the money together but with all the inspiration on here I shall give it my best shot. I've been intending it for ages won't bore you with all the details.

Really annoyed with myself today because I couldn't get into work today and will have to use a days holiday. Got loads of ideas etc about next year and about getting organised and all I want to do is sleep, GRR.

Good luck with todays fly lady.

Mum had her date for MRi scan - clashes with getting DS to station for train back to Uni and a funeral !!

Anyway speak later - might even do the ironing later !!

Well I would have been drier if I'd have gone swimming !!!

Had to shower and completely change when i got back after the second walk - which did take 1 1/2 hours.

Off to get some lunch then do ironing whilst watching a film

Right, client seen, and £50 therefore added to my debt pot challenge total.....and another square coloured in :D I really should do more of this sort of work - I enjoy it, and it pays well, so it is just down to me to get off my backside and make more of it in some way, without doing so much that I have even less time to myself

I have also decluttered my make up bags and thrown out all the stuff that has been lingering in there since electric blue was fashionable first time round :o

I am going to have a coffee, and some lunch, and a bit of a break until 2pm when I will head into the pit that is sometimes known as my bedroom and try and make it the calm and serene place it should be :o

angelaf - Pontypool was fine - the slope is in a lovely setting compared with many, and the kids got the results they wanted, so all in all a good weekend. Even the long journey was relatively easy and stress free......for a change!

  • We have not tv here thanks to the weather (i'm still analogue and will be till next march when we finally get freeview). I might just put mamma mia dvd on this afternoon to cheer things up.

I can understand how wet you must be as my parents just called in and the dogs padded parka (don't ask, lol!) was soaked through bless him.
