No buying new toiletries etc until.....

Options
No buying any new toiletries, cosmetics, pefume etc... until I have used up ALL the ones I already have. I got a huge amount of (really nice) stuff for christmas but I am going to resist the urge to browse Boots, Asda, Superdrug etc, and pop another tub of cream, face scrub, shampoo or conditioner into my basket. I reckon the stuff I have will last me until possibly June. I have decided that the money I save I will put into my special holiday account.

Anyone else?

I'm going to subscribe to this thread to keep myself in check. I have a huge box and cupboard full of 'spares' so I reckon I could last until June too. Might have to buy some deodorant at some point but will use up what I have first but that's the only thing.

Oooooh - count me in too please - Ive aquired HUGE 3 sets of soap and glory ( yay !!!!) and have LOADS of lush stuff left over from their various sales too - so assuming I can still have shampoo and moisturiser, I need to clear some room !!! :)

  • I'm perfectly happy with buying new stuff, if I run out. I'm just not going to buy more toiletries while I've got cupboards full. I get bored using the same stuff, so I thought I might swap bottles, tubs & jars around every so often. I just want to use up most of what I have, to save money & give me more room.

Oh its wonderful stuff - costly (though the sets I had were the down to £20 from £50 that you probably read about!) but IMO its worth every penny. smells good, makes my skin lovely - (though my hair isnt terribly keen on their conditioner - but my mum likes that,so hurrah, thats her birthday sorted ;) !!)

Cant praise it highly enough - google them, its a good website too !!

Ooh what a fab idea for a thread! I've still got smellies from last xmas in my bathroom that I've not used, yet I've still been tempted and bought plenty of bits through the year!

Yes I thought the other day no more buying stuff. I have 20 perfumes (some small ones) and need to use them up which will take me ages, more than a year I think! Plus have a s&g box, loads of creams, hair stuff, 12 mouth washes etc no more buying!

I will join in with this challenge also. I have so many creams, lotions and bottles of perfume that need to be used up. I think I only need to buy anti perspirant next year.
