I want to know what gibble means too! And whilst on the subject, what was HHI?

Another question - why do you polish the windows when you only washed them on Monday

I REALLY don't get this flylady stuff.... polishing the taps from Monday - how? I don't want to come across as a slob - I keep my place clean and tidy, but I don't polish the sink... should I? :rolleyes: Can someone please point me in the direction of what this flylady stuff is all about (not the list of tasks but HOW and WHY to do the tasks

I'm looking forward to broadening my horizons - though part of me wonders if I'm really narrowing them down in a return to a sort of 1950s housewife role :eek:

My Mum uses the word "gibbles" - for odds and ends.

If someone calls round and needs the loo, my heart literally beats in my ears so loudly that I can't hear, until I know whether or not my bedroom door is closed. That is one area I need to sort before the year's out.

The main Flylady site is here...http://www.flylady.net but there's also a thread in the OS forum - which is what Hypno does....although I think it's more exhausting than the original!!!:rotfl:

Hiphouse, I only did the windows on Monday for Monday's rooms........so the windows I do today will only be those in my bedroom, which haven't been done since about 2005.......

When I am at work, I don't get anywhere near the full list done each day, but even just one or two things done from the list has been making a difference - especially when my previous housework effort was something just less than negligable But because I am off work this week I thought I would try and do a "proper" job for a change and start the new year in some sort of order (well, more order than normal, anyway!).

Today I have a client booked in at 11, but apart from that it is flylady and pottering - the car is booked in for 8am but OH is dealing with that so I don't need to get it/him anywhere.

First, though - scratches, banking and coffee......not necessarily in that order!

I rarely have such energy DC, but when it makes it's occasional appearance, I have to make the most of it and get cracking!!

But of course, if there are any green triangles going spare..........!

Well I can see I'm going to have run some tests all in the name of science you understand.
Green Triangles, Blue coconut things or...terrys chocolate orange to see which enhances energy levels. (Hoping is Terry's.....)
