It's very grey here, but I'm not planning on going anywhere.......ex-student has just gone into town to meet up with a friend, and OH is at work, but I am here with the kids who are happy playing on the Wii and eating yet more Christmas food :o

And of course, why would I want to go out when I have a lovely bedroom to create :rotfl:

  • Exactly! I could throw myself into my ironing but i just don't feel that wretched yet, lol! Instead I'm going to grab some lunch and then work on my finances. How good is that.

You're doing better than me - I still can't face my bedroom. So I thought for a change, I'd eat some more chocolate :D

lol macgirl.......I am determined to get on top of things this week.....I am CERTAINLY not going to enter the next decade with any negativity, and the positive energy will flow beautifully round my house by the time I have finished :D

In other, not so great, news......the car is still being investigated with lots of urming, and aahing, and scratching of heads, coupled with "don't know if we can get a part in now until Monday"........

Looks like it will be another quiet few days/evening in, then

Hypno - you've spurred me on....I'm going to venture into our bedroom....it's been nice knowing you (I'm leaving the rest of the house as we're having friends over tomorrow night so DH will go into cleaning frenzy downstairs....wouldn't want to ruin it for him!!:rotfl:xx
  • Dare I say my bedroom is not too bad. Ducks and offers assorted chocholates to make amends. I could really do with throwing out a lot of make up too but I'm sentimentally attached/think it's a waste and feel guilty but as you said it does have a shelf life and some of it has been there at least as long as yours if not longer. I had some lovely make up bags off my sister so that will be an incentive to sort it out.

Sean I feel so guilty for not going in to work after it was snow covered and frozen ice at 5.30am with severe weather and blizzards forcast that has turned out to be rain which as cleared the path, that I'm now hoping for a blizzard. Not that i want to spoil anyone's new year travelling or anything, lol! Last wednesday I struggled in (i walk with crutches so ice is not overly kind to me and work panic about me falling) because it forcast rain that would clear the snow and there were blizzards that came from nowhere and we almost had to spend the night in the car. Weather forecasters!!! My mother does better with her athritis and her pinecone
