Well, if you need additional volunteers for what is, after all, a very serious scientific investigation, then please give me a shout!!
Bed linen stripped and in the wash, hope to get it dry and back on the bed this morning......then its the awful, depressing matter of......THE FLOOR :eek::eek:
Banking showed a £10 scratchie payout received, so that is now nicely in the debt pot.....nothing else, good or bad, to report.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Morning - banking checked etc etc, off to walk doggy then going to bank, post office and to pick up huge order of Explorer scout badges for awards evening next week. Must start visual presentation on that as well.
Mum had her date for MRi scan - clashes with getting DS to station for train back to Uni and a funeral !!
Anyway speak later - might even do the ironing later !!0 -
Hi surfbabe - things look as hectic as ever for you! Several weeks ago I joined in the challenge on OS to get to the bottom of the ironing pile by New Year - I am almost up to date, so hope to enter 2010 without an ironing pile in existance at all.......considering the everest-like proportions that the ironing has assumed in the past, this is no mean feat, and I am very pleased that I am almost there! DD did help by doing a load while I was away, so I am very grateful to her too!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Right, 9am so time to get in the shower and make myself all professional like.......and will pick up and put away 10 things from the bedroom floor while I am there......
Then need to prep the room for the client, and get another load in the wash.
I have decided to have a little variation on the £10 a day challenge - I want to make £5000 from MSE means in 2010......this would be enough to clear the barclayloan completely, (normal monthly payments will account for the rest of it) so that is the motivation behind it, I reckon.
I need to make more of an effort to do the occasional car boot and get stuff on ebay.....this year I have done nicely out of free b!ngo etc but of course those opportunities are few and far between, and there may not be another one for some time.
I will start today - just to give myself a good start with the £10 scratch money and my client money that I will get later today.
I do have the opportunity to make money - clients and downloads in particular, but I have to put the effort in.......I am hoping that by clearing the house and getting it tidy, I am also giving myself the "space" (mentally and physically) to work a bit more.
It is all linked on so many levels!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
good luck with decluttering. I made great strides just before xmas, but with the littlies off it is difficult. So I may have to just consign January to the no decluttering bin....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
