Hmmm, that's sorted that one out then.
If I'm honest, I think you've seen better and I am a great believer in fate, when it's meant to be, everything will fall into place.

I'm not really a fan of new builds - unless they're ultra modern (I'm with DT, I love what George Clarke does, especially with period properties), but I can certainly see the appeal of knowing what you are going to buy, further down the road.
It does seem like a less stressful way of buying a house.

I couldn't afford the cleaner AND the heating bill :rotfl:

Have talked to OH about it, and the parking issue really does rule it out for us......people parking "on our patch" is OH's bugbear, and there really is no compromise if the parking is not obvious and private enough.

    So that has decided it.

Good. It just means you're one step closer to what's meant to be ;)

Dare I ask if you're feeling better and in the mood for a run :D

I'm feeling ok - sneezing a lot but not too bad.

I will be running tomorrow morning around the lake while DS is skiing. That way, I get to run in daylight, and that on its own is very good for my mental wellbeing. From the ski club, round the lake once, then back to the ski club is 3 miles, so perfect for me at the moment. Then there are showers and hot chocolates at the club while I wait for DS to finish.......perfect :D

That was how I got most of my marathon training in - running while they were skiing......so I am quite looking forward to that in the morning. If I am not feeling that great, then I can always powerwalk around the lake instead, which will still do me some good and get me some fresh air.

That sounds lovely and far more idyllic than my jog up the main road!

Earlier this year I was in Copenhagen for work and I ran every morning. There are 3 or 4 lakes in the city centre to run around - it was so nice running there amongst the Danes - they are all gorgeous) and set it really me up for the day.

Hope it's not too cold for you - enjoy!

Its one reason I would like to move nearer the city - some fabulous running routes that I thoroughly enjoyed when I was running earlier in the year.

    Evening all!

Hypno - at least now you're nearly in a position to turn down houses that aren't what you want. That's what's going to be so great....you'll be able to afford to say no! Your planned run sounds lovely. I missed out on my walk this morning as stripy dog was limping. DH found a big thorn in her pad.....at least that saved me a fortune at the vet! DH has been paid (includes his overtime which is when it's worth him working away). We managed not to 'live' on the credit card in November which means what we've got is ours (apart from DD's furniture that we budgeted for). If we can be tight again this month we might have a bit saved towards a new car. Fingers crossed!

Saying all that I've just treated myself to a discounted bottle of Baileys and DVD in Mr T's. I'm home alone all weekend and, in my defence, the DVD will make a nice christmas present for DD. The Baileys........no justification......I NEEDED it:rotfl:. It's the first time in sooooooo long that I could actually do something impulsive like that!!

    Chink chink xx
