That's where I was intending putting OH and the kids.....leaving the lovely bits of the house just for me and my laptopSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Gorgeous house! Definitely worth a look, even if it's only to spur you on and remind you why you are doing all this."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

fair enough Hypno, does that not mean you can use a spare cupboard or something for the ski's?? i'm sure they'll fit in somewhere.0

I have to say you've got very diverse taste Hypno.
This one's got too many nooks and crannies, stainless steel and glass for me. No easy clean here (loved your idea for the cellar though). But last week's big, modern, detached house with fab kitchen would do me fine.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. Ah yes, there is no "one" perfect house - there are many perfect houses out there.......I am going to be an estate agent's worst nightmare when I really DO start househunting :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hurray for bacon butties - I've been veggie for more than 20 years now, and I *still* miss them!
It has to be said. Karmacat, that the smell of bacon butties is the reason for many people eating meat: if God had meant us not to eat meat, he would not have made it smell so good! Please call me 'Pickle'

... I can't actually remember what it tastes like at all. Actually I can't be 100% sure I've ever had it! We stopped eating most meat/poultry before I started primary school and completely (including fish) a fair bit before I started secondary school and I'm still veggie. I can't remember what any of it tastes like at all! Apparently I used to love sausages but I can't remember them either! :rotfl:
The smell of bacon just reminds me of going camping as it always seemed to be cooked by others whenever I went camping. :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
