  • I would definitely have to go and have a look I like period with contemporary interior if OH ever wins the premium bonds I am going to get George Clarke in to do that to our house:rolleyes:

No garage would be a deal breaker for my OH though because of his cars but looking on the bright side less space to accumulate rubbish and in an house like that you would have to be very tidy:D

I know why I didn't get my £10 BB bonus - yesterday was my last day £65 up so not to be sneezed at need to find something else now though

how do you get to see avatars?? I never see them.

Go to User CP at the top, and then in the lefthand side column there's a link called Edit Avatar - you can have several options there, including uploading your own and seeing the ones that other people have got.

As far as the bacon butties, taka, I'm not *tempted*, understand - its just that there's three or four meats that I only discovered as an adult (my mother was *not* a good cook :rotfl:) and bacon butties were one of them; if I'd known what a vegetarian was when I was a child, I'm sure I'd have become one then, in spite of the tellings-off I'd have got, but I never even heard of it then.

Not sure if I will go and look at it......when we looked at it before, it was in the area we were living in at the time, so the children were at school there......now, they go to school a few miles away, so that would have to be factored in.....

Out of my favoured "city" locations, it is third on the list in terms of area......so that means there are better ones out there.

BUT, a few years ago we would have snapped off their hands to get that place, so we have to think carefully before we rule it out.

To be honest, I think it is just that bit too soon - whereas the new build I was talking about has only just got planning permission so is in the future somewhat.......and is also in preferred area number one.

Also......how would I get the cobwebs down from that ceiling.....and what happens when it needs painting - it would cost me a fortune!!
