The 1st December 08 to 1st December 09 accounting period (!) saw me clear off capital of £19206.82 which is less than I had aimed for, but considering that we had a couple of ski trips in there for various people, plus a trip to China for DD, and our first family holiday for years, isn't a figure I am upset by.

    :D

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You must be the only person who can casually drop into a reply that they've paid nearly 20k back in a year. That's amazing!!! :T:T:T:T:T:T

    Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!:T:T:T

The baileys was good - i'm a lightweight now though...two small glasses and I went to bed! I've just re-jigged my finances (again) and realised I'd not accounted for the fact that I earn money too:rotfl:.

    Have a fab weekend xx

Hypno, that sounds like a lovely day you've got planned (oh, I've realised you're actually *going* to Tesco, not getting a delivery) - well, a pretty good day, anyway. Congratulations on the amount repaid!

Just catching up so thanks for the "house". hard to get a feel for it as it looked so pristinely new and empty.

Your figures are amazing but perhaps you should factor in the amounts saved and spent on ski-ing, China and hols as that would better reflect the actual work and achievements of the year. :T:T:T

how is the current ski pot looking? Enjoy your run.

Back from my run - 3.25 miles although it was veeery slow :o Still, I made the effort, and I can cross it off my list.

Quick coffee and then a shower and I will feel human again :D

Well done on the run!! I'm jealous - my hamstring is not healed, I am really missing running. Today I took DD to a parkrun event I always enjoy and had to stand and watch.... boooo

Even more well done on paying of 19k. That's phenomenal!

Sorry but I am not keen on the chapel conversion. It looks a bit characterless, the spiral stairway is ugly and would get annoying and the bathroom isn't nice. Stick to a proper house, I say.

    OK, that's my twopence worth!

Sorry to read that your hamstring is not better yet - I hope it heals soon. I am torn between being disappointed that I am barely shuffling around 3 miles, when 6 months ago I could manage 26, and just being pleased that I have got out there and done something......I know what I *should* be feeling, but I am having difficulty banishing the former.......:o My nearest parkrun is 25 miles away, so not ventured there yet - if they did one in Norwich, I would be there like a shot - they seem excellent (and very MSE!).

When we looked at the chapel before, seaxwyn, you have to remember it was undeveloped, so we were in love with the "raw potential"........we won't be going to look at it - there is something better out there for us now.

Well done on that phenomenal total Hypno! :T:T:T
That is an amazing achievement and one I hope to replicate next year :D

I like your "To Do" list too - especially the wine part ;) Think if I finish mine today, I'll celebrate by wrapping pressies with a glass of Baileys!

I have to be debt free by 40, Sea - that much is for certain.......and it is less than 12 months away now, so I have to get my act together big time!!

Just done all my lightspeed surveys - got screened out of most of them, but have sent £1 to paypal, so that is £1 I didn't have this morning

I've done my meal plan and shopping list too......now just need to find a local free range turkey wanting to grace my dinner table on December 25th.....

I wish I had even a tenth of your determination, hypno. How do you do it? I haven't paid off any debt this year despite constant scrabbling and scraping for money. You are amazing.
