I used to do a lot for emysteryshopper and still get the emails but confess to not even reading them anymore.
However, last year, they did give me a nice run of jobs - £150 worth in the week between Christmas and New year I think - all online, so no need to even venture outside!
Perhaps I should open my emails after all :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
just logged on to them - my last activity on there was January 2008
Mind you, my first was way back in 2002, so I have done a fair bit for them over the years! I will check a little more often now, though, just to see if I can add up the odd £ or two.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Morning! I like the sound of you sitting peacefully in your nice conservatory, Hypno, thats lovely. As to mystery shopping, I use gfk and Retail Eyes - I never understand what difference the points make, tho - I try to make sure my points are as high as possible, but I have no idea what for. Do you know? And there are some jobs I can't take for gfk any more - I was spotted at one bank as a repeat customer, oops, so I'd better not go back there, and I'm not taking any recorded phone call assignments at the mo because I think now that I'm on a Virgin phone line, that system doesn't work any more. Not sure.
Anyway, a quieter day is planned today, I *need* it. Here's to sitting and drinking coffee. And playing free bingo.......2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I did ask them what the points meant.....but got no response, so I still have no idea!
I did have a win on the b!ngo yesterday - my first for two weeks!!!! I could do with a few more, if the gods of free b!ngo are listening.....
My supermarket shop is due to be delivered this morning, OH is working this evening, and DS has a football match this afternoon, although only in the village, so no need for transport. I opted out of today's ski race as I have to take them to Lancashire next weekend, which is a flippin long way away from here, and which will cost me a small fortune in travel inn and petrol!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. If it helps, there are some recurring themes......
- am skint
- am tired
- am tackling the ironing pile again
- drinking coffee
Must have missed those posts, off to read diaries again. Seem to remember a fair few '1001 ways to avoid ironing' posts though :rotfl:Sadly, I have not had much this year at all in the way of shops - but other locations seem to be getting a constant stream through. Maybe we just have a lot of mystery shoppers all grabbing the work where I live!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Oops, that would be my DD, sorry
Ah, its no problem! I have had my fair share over the years, and at those times when I couldn't balance the books, they were more important to me than they are now. Now they are a very useful extra, but I don't stress if there are none about.
About a year ago, though, I was getting a nice number of restaurant visits - no fee, but £30 or £50 towards your bill.......I've not seen any of those about for a while, so one or two of them would be useful as a cheap or free evening/Sunday lunch outing!
I have got a sandwich visit tomorrow lunchtime, so that will do me nicely, but nothing booked in after that.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

What, do you think I'm going overboard? I couldn't find a specific smiley.......2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I need to do something - I feel as though nothing has been achieved this weekend......nothing thrown out, nothing cleaned, and no control wrestled back from the chaos that is my house
So, once the next free b!ngo game is played, I will go and clean my kitchen........and get another load of washing in. There, I have committed to do something, so do something I will!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
