Good luck with the furniture moving - and if the house looks bigger, you have gotten yourself an excellent result!! I love Thorpe End - once looked at a dream house there (pre house from hell) but couldn't quite make the money stretch to it at the time, sadly. I would look there again, but there is talk of the Northern bypass making an appearance next door, so it is not currently on my list of "maybes".....

  • Hypno - you are an inspiration.
Can I be cheeky and ask where you get mystery shops from? I joined a couple ages ago but didn't get any shops.

yep, where I live is in uproar at the plans for the bypass and the eco-town they are planning! I guess in 10-20 years, we will be part of Norwich basically, if it goes ahead. Thankfully I'm in the conservation area, so it couldn't get too close to me as it stands at the moment, but am concerned if they don't make improvements to the infrastructure - we already have rubbish telephone exchange and no mobile reception as it is! Thorpe End is beautiful, but does get loads of traffic from people like me who need to drive through it to get to the A47, so yep, I would look elsewhere on that basis alone!

I use TNS, GFK and Retail Eyes.

GFK email you when assignments are available, but with the other two, it is a case of logging on and checking daily (or when I am really needy, hourly!) to see if anything is available.

Sadly, I have not had much this year at all in the way of shops - but other locations seem to be getting a constant stream through. Maybe we just have a lot of mystery shoppers all grabbing the work where I live!

I think there is quite a good mystery shopping thread on the "up your income" board, bookie - might be worth looking there to see what other companies are worth (or not!) signing up to right now. There is no limit to the number you sign up to.

  • Just want to add that many years ago I was an MS for emysteryshopper had a few assignments with Asda and phone shops they still send me messages now but having moved from the city to the sticks they never seem suitable. Not sure if it's a smaller set up or part of a bigger MS enterprise.
