Periodic checks with CRA's - does this mean a random full credit search but without being recorded on CRA's...therefore invisible searches can exist right?

I had my capital one credit card limit increase after a periodic check with CRA's.
Well i think they can either use an "unrecorded enquiry" or CAIS.

Nah mate - I understand why (I have 230+ searches) so no wonder they are a little dubious! I have over 200 due to drop off soon..... my credit file is like 50 pages long hahahaha

I love HSBC and this won't change my mind, at the end of the day I dont use either facility so it wasn't harming me which is what I pointed out to them - they were baffled as to why as well.....

It is not suprising! I take it though that it will be reletavily easy to contact u/w and get them to reverse this? You can use BS and previous conduct.

Well they reversed my card but o/d is proving difficult cos they have removed facility from my online banking which doesn't add up cos they left me a £200 o/d lol so if I want to reduce/cancel it - I can't!!!

Its actually funny but I can see how people would feel if they relied on it, luckily for me I don't but I could imagine the hassle some people face cos no1 knows their head from their ar se mate.... sorry to say! :p

No, you're not seeing a newer, improved, chilled niddy boy - i'm just not bothered about something that doesn't affect me. So long as the reduction in o/d doesn't affect my credit score or behave score then fine - keep it! :D

200 searches! imagine on the day they drop off - it would save something like ...a forest!and your 'experian' score - if you bothered to pay for it (no I don't) would go up by hundreds....
