Am not working until later so I have spent today thinking about how to eat cheaply so thanks for the tips:D I need to do a food shop and have set myself a budget of £20 for the week, which is not as low as it could be but I am going to ease myself in gently.:D I have lots of beans and noodles in stock, am definitely going to stock up on cereals as I am not a cook and when I am busy I end up eating rubbish, so cereal will be quick and easy.

    So far today:
    • bought 2 pints of milk and used 25 points voucher from tesco
    • coins in piggy
    • £2 x 2 in pot
    • collected £2 lottery win
    • store cupboard meals
    • read papers online
    • closed 2nd current account which I was using purely for the overdraft facility:o- if it's not there I can't use it
    • checked online banking
    • 3 piggy clicks
    • checked quidco
    Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000

I think getting to 9 days in the first place was really good going, I know how difficult it is, going cold turkey, being tempted to get in touch, and then getting horribleness back, so you end up feeling stupid for having tried, for torturing yourself....

I dont take in lunches as there is never anything good to eat at home, but I do get soup, pitta bread, yogurt and bananas from Sainsburys on a Monday and keep it in the fridge at work to last me the week, this weeks haul cost me £5.50ish, not as good as free food from home, but better than buying a sandwich everyday.

No contact is by far the best way for you to start getting over things.

I used to lock my mobile in the car overnight so I couldn't send drunk messages. We all do it.

What is it with us fabulous girls pining over men that aren't worth it? Mr. Fire Fox leaves later this week and random crying keeps occurring in public: not good. :(

I too need to do some hardcore budgeting the rest of this month (or raid my savings ) - as I only have £60 left in my current account. My cash normally comes from Mr. Fire Fox, he usually pays half the bills, I need to organise a landline and internet connection, pay £600 off my service charges debt, I've spent £150 on stuff for the gorgeous Noah AND I still need to make a donation to Cats Protection when he arrives!

On the plus side I bought six bottles of wine in Tesco ...

    Oh b****r!

Just burnt my tea onto the bottom of my very nice pan (only decent thing I got from my marriage was a decent set of pans!)

Got through none of my to do list and work and have no idea what to put on my timesheet.

The bank have withdrawn my overdraft facility without notice.

And still no sign of Daniel Craig coming to take me away from all of this!

    Oh happy day!

As those days are generally down to my customers or my boss (or both) telling me how to do my job even though neither really understand it I put them down as Training (boss) or Meetings (customer) ;)

Going to put most of it down to admin. Spent an awful lot of time answering really very stupid question by boss and clients asked.

Neither my boss or clients really understand what I do either!

well, that's monday nearly over & done with :j

big hugs & virtual wine & chocolate to all in need.

I too have done the plaintive & pitiful texting in the distant past & my advice to anyone who is considering this is simple :

    JUST DONT.

I am still getting occasional texts & emails form someone I ejected a long time ago & believe me when I say that each text just confirms that I made the right decision.

It may be tough but I truly advocate that cold turkey & zero contact is the best way forward. You maintian dignity, self respect & also an air of : " Hey, she gave me up that easily without even a murmur of a fight to keep me:confused:".

It will haunt the !!!!!! for years that you didnt even try to persuade him to stay & also give him the slight suspicion that you may just have found someone else bigger & better. Trust me girls, there's always someone bigger & better out there for you, because you are so damn FABULOUS :A.

Lula-Hula, you hit the nail on the hear with that fantastic advice, thank you! And your right, we are all fab!

Firefox, good luck with the budgetting, and dont feel bad about raiding your savings if you need too, they are there to be a safety net when you need them, and if thats now, then go for it (also, you can always pay them back next month)

Am still in a fantastic mood today, :j and my swimming lesson went much better last night, had been really struggling and was contemplating quitting, but now I know I just need a bit more determination and practice - waterslides here i come! Have decided singledom is a wonderful thing as it gives me time to concentrate on me, (self centered? me? never!)

Possibly Daniel Craig just doesnt know you like him? Prehaps if you put it as your facebook status word would get back to him and he might make a move? (:rotfl:)
