Hi everybody - hope you've all had a good weekend
Am hoping for a less stressful week this week for me :rolleyes:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Hi everyone,
after the last few days of spending like a crazy woman I have managed my first NSD of the month today.
I've spent most of today pottering which means a bit of tidying, a bit of decluttering, a bit of washing, a bit of recycling, a bit of decluttering & a whole lot of nibbling .
I have just made a couple of CC payments & we have plenty of food so all the spending did have some use.
Well done on the frugality sarah, & you have £700 more in your isa than I have in mine so I think yo can easily make your target as long as you dont do any more unnecessary clothes & shoe shopping.
What's up Ziggles ?0 -

Hear hear!!!!
It's been a horrendous 2 weeks- need a holiday, new life or both:eek::eek::eek:
too much drama by far and battling the bugs going about is such hard work
i still have to get hands on pink elephant- it IS a Co-op one right??? No sign of it since you guys started going on about it- only go in at the weekend though- will try tomorrow- plenty of red so won't suffer in the meantime!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Yes, the fabulous pink elephant is to be found in the co op. It's real name is Balance but you wont mistake it as the label has a very clear picture of pink elephant on it. So far, I've discovered it in red & rose, will look out fo w ahite but not actually a big fan of white.
Have a headache so going to get some water & an early night,
Good luck for next week Shoe Gal & I really hope things are much calmer for you
night night all

Made soup to take to work, thai green curry and spicy tomato sauce. I've got loads of rice, pasta and noodles in the cupboard.
If things get really bad I can always live on cornflakes! They are one of my top teas when I can't be bothered to cook. :j0 -

For the first few weeks after my LBM I lived mostly on Ready Brek & Beans on Toast.
Morning SBC,
cant beat good old B.O.T or if you're adventurous & slightly less skint then a jacket potato with baked beans is very nutritious. Not a fan of beans myself but have been rescued from starving by them many a time
Just plain cooked pasta with a bit of butter, salt & pepper is another favourite too.
If I didnt have a child I reckon I could live on £10 a week ( have allotment for veg )0 -
I think a diet consisting of cornflakes and beans on toast could work. Possibly!
I have got everyone at work bringing their lunch in rather than buying it! Even the boss - although not sure how long that will last.0 -
I think so too :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It wasnt a problem in the end, he didnt come out as he had rugby on Saturday, he's lovely but.....I think it would be a bit creepy to be honest  :rotfl:
I had a funny Sunday, was in a foul mood all day, but woke up this morning in a great mood and realised that Sunday was the last of the moping over the ex, am finally over it all, which is great, and has put me in a fab mood for the day
Hope everyone else is in such a good mood, in spite of the rain :rolleyes:Debt free date - 4th December 2008 :j0
