  • hello everyone,

I am in debt and single, have been for a while now - do you think its possible to actually meet someone when you are trying to have NSD's and pay your debts? I'm wondering I should just accept until my debts are clear dating just isn't possible...

It all comes down to the guy really.

I went on a few dates with one guy who was into dining at very expensive restaurants. Wasn't comfortable with it as I couldn't afford to keep up with him.

Stopped seeing him after 3 dates. He thought spending loads of money would impress me. I'd have been happier if he'd bought me a bag of chips! And he was needy.

Still after the right guy who hopefully won't mind cheap dates!

    Hiya all,

    Oooo shiny new thread!

I am actually a bit scared of my next guys finances. I know it sounds silly but I was 18 and when I got with my ex and didn't give a monkeys about debts until I found this site and got myself debt free, my ex didn;t have debts at the beginning of our relationship though he left with one credit card (vanquis, as we were supposed to be getting a mortgage and needed to improve his non existent credit rating).

Hes not paying anything other than the minimum I think but anyway point is I dunno how I will handle a guy in debt, guess i could train him.

Now I am 25 and I just want a rich cat loving man who wants to spoil me and have a family one day although don't want to find him for a year or so anyway! :p
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month
