I agree with Lula, I ingnored my ex for 6 weeks guess who's started texting and would I like to go out for a drink? my reply well obviously I would seen as were friends, but rather busy at mo. As I was the one who dumped him guess who thinks I got it wrong and I shouldn't have blah blah, so I've been lying low and just keeping quiet, I'm sure I ain't got it wrong, in fact damn sure I haven't, and given time I will find someone else who isn't too critical all the time.

You are so right eco. Lie low and no contact. Give yourself time to realise that, whilst painful, splitting up is the right thing to do.

Harrogate's lovely for shopping, my mum's buried on a nature reserve in Knaresborough, so do a bit of shopping then go up to Knaresborough it's a good day out, and sometimes we go for a walk in a wood that's nearby.

Splitting up was painful this time and I realised it's cos I believed every word, or maybe I was hoping it would work out this time, but I'd forgotton the bad points and remembered the good ones, but hopefully I learnt a bit this time.

Both Harrogate and Knaresborough are lovely. I tend to go out in Knaresborough more in the evening as most of my friends live there.

Each time I start a new relationship I have high hopes that maybe this time it will work. The most pain I felt was when my marriage broke down. Not because it had ended but because of the way it ended. However, after a few months the feeling of relief completely outweighed the pain.

I have managed to build a friendship with one ex-boyfriend. We had no contact for just over a year after we split. When we saw each other again I told him a few home truths about what a terrible boyfriend he was and we went from there. We are now good friends.

Clearly thay arent putting the effort in!.....Are you too sensible to believe a letter to Father Christmas would work? that could be worth a try too.........:rotfl:

Well I am done with relationships. I have never been the jealous or possessive type and I never want to be as the small taste of it over the last month is a living hell. I used Mr. Fire Fox's Facebook account last night to look at pics of Lilmissmup's cats (cute!): he was a bit cagey about logging on for me and then went straight to bed ....

Messages to four girls over the past year - two harmless flirting (except one is an ex and the other the **** he cheated with), two explicitly sexual although with a jokey element. The most recent was just five days after he admitted cheating.

I'm supposed to be working but, rant away. we've probably all been there I felt like bashing my ex with a bat haven't yet but I could do.

You know deep down your better off without him but it takes so long for your head to realise that, if you want to do something on a weekend let me know cos I can drive to Bradford and it might help to get out even if it's just for a coffee, I love this site cos it's the only place that I don't feel odd for still been single, and I know I'm not the only one who meets the bad ones.
