Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!

    Buffy my lovely,

we all want someone to look after us, but sometimes what we have to do is learn is how to look after ourselves :( so that we become stronger & self sufficient.

It sounds harsh but what your friend is going through is hers to deal with in her way, you have your own trials to cope with & that is what you must concentrate on.

It is part of your very caring nature to want to relieve suffering but before you can take away anyone elses, you have to learn to let go of your own.

    More hugs :grouphug:

Lula - I wish I could say things as well as you do :A

Buffy - what she said

    thanks all of you xxxxxxx

I am not suffering just like I said have seen something I wouldn't normally want? but now I have it makes me want it! I can and do look after myself, and I know my friend has to go through this stuff herself I just sometimes really wish I was stupid and didn't think so much. It would be nice to just switch off and not worry about consequences - like the "mate" who is ignoring me (and others) she is so selfish. SO selfish. and I wish I could just lose myself in meaningless crap.

Oh God I don't even know what the hell I am talking about now.

I wish. The most pointless sentence starter EVER.

Problem - bloke - V good kisser (never bodes well, if he is that good he has been busy!) I didn't give my number and said if he wanted me he could find me. then, once bloke in cab my friend said becareful he treats women like crap so I have had a good time and a lucky escape. Just need to stop putting a wishbone where my back bone should be!

Problem - workload. well to be honest it would help if I got on with it!

Problem - "friend" I swing between thinking so what and crumbs what if she tops herself. really don't know what to do there. she won't help herself behaves as tho she has the weight of the world on her shoulders. And honestly this is not me being mean but she doesn't.

Problem - best mate, well I have arranged to see her on Wednesday. (may also lead to information about blokey - just you know to see :o)

I shall get my !!!! together.

thnak you folks love you all lots xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Be very careful with super kissy guy ( so jealous :o) enjoy, have fun but dont become another conquest for him ;).

Be cool & mysterious & if you do manage that PLEASE tell me how, have been trying without success for about 20 years now :rotfl:

As to friends, well those who whine most often have the least to complain about  & like you say, you look after yourself & your mum & your menagerie & work & have debts to deal with & have shed loads of work stress & lost a loved one so let her wallow & just look after you.

Doctor Lula prescribes wine & chocolate & more snogging :D

    Need my bed now,
tomorrow is another day full of potential & opportunities

    night night
    xx

Buffy my lovely, if your friend is saying about topping herself, there is not a lot you can do. It's a threat, it's all it is (trust someone who knows) and to be blunt, if she was going to do it, she'd have done it already. I know that's harsh but it's true. And you do need to just go out and snog loadsa men and just pretend you're not waiting for the one who's gonna sweep you off your feet (if he does, can we call him Angel lol)

If you know she's overdramatic, this may be attention seeking..I'd leave texting until tomorrow too to be honest.

Thanks Shoegal - I'm off today from work, going to head into town shortly to check out an art exhibition, meet a friend for lunch and then a matinee!! Woo hoo!

Buffy - I think you did brilliantly with your ice-queen 'if you want me you can find me'. Sometimes you don't meet Mr Right while you're out but it can be good to meet Mr Right Now .........Onwards and upwards darling!!
I've got my own flat :j:j
