Glad that a bit of elephant fishing is sorting you out ;)

I dont have a problem with the site per se, I think I just happen to be in an area with an ovewhelming supply of idiots

I've had to cut down my elephant juice to just one glass on a school night as I've been struggling to get up in the mornings :o I love it too much.

Work was rather interesting today & I like the people I work alongside, all have a great sense of humour so there are plenty of laughs to accompany the work. I had 3 free coffees today so getting my freebies in :D

The weigh-in this morning revealed what I suspected; a rather shameful zero on the lossage, I did go shopping this evening though so have stocked up on 45 & 60 calorie cup a soups which I am starting to really enjoy  & they're only 65p for 4 so what with that & the bag of rolls I swiped from the reduced basket at a thrifty 19p for 4 I think I've made up for the weight loss debacle by an extremely money saving supper.

I will have lost 2lbs by next thursday

If you ate the perfect diet and worked out with the very best trainer for the next two weeks (or months), using the state of the art equipment...you'd gain weight. A lot of it.

Muscle being denser weighs more. The more it's used the better it grows up to a point most people would find hard to exceed.

However, you'd look in a mirror and be chuffed. You'd be lacking in nothing your body requires, and would feel good generally.

Walk more. or walk faster...eat better. Fat is fuel, burn it and enjoy the taste it brings to food within sensible limits.

It may surprise you to be told this, but humans have managed without diets and even grown bigger and stronger though the last thousands of years without counting calories or reading how to feed themselves in articles written by anorexic born again food gurus or gourmets we have right now.

Even more shocking. people may even like you just as you are, which is sensible since that's likely to be what you will be comfortable with at the end of the day and who you really are.

If you met a person feedng a cat what you just said you eat (or similar calorific values) ...what would you think ? Cruel?:rotfl:

    Hey there all!

Ziggles - how annoyingly rude! I hope Friday works out better for you.

CaroleM- yes, loved Mama Mia, my kind of film, singing, dancing and funny jokes. Plus set on gorgeous greek island, really made me want to go on holiday!!!

Had fab eve at a lovely Korean resturant, my final birthday celebration this year! Got some brilliant pressies including a stash of no. 7 makeup (including the bonus gift which I'd been lusting over at lunchtime) and a fab pair of ear-muffs - woolly on outside and faux sheepskin over ears!!!

Very lucky to have such generous friends!

One more day and then it is the weekend!!! And I'm on holiday as of Sunday!!! I literally, can't wait!!

BTW - Timmers -slightly odd post there?! I presume you meant well but it has come across as a bit critical and I don't think that is fair.
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Are the ear muffs comfy? I can remember them from when I was little and they always used to hurt my ears.....

Well I only tried them on in the restaurant but they were cosy and I'd forgotten the sound-muffling qualities so would be good to wear on bus etc!

Will report back in case anyone else is thinking of getting some!!

I love ear muffs…a friend gave me some funny things- not sure what they’re called but they’re the next step up from ear muffs- they don’t have the bitty that goes over your head (and htherefore does not mess up your hair!) They are like those hair barrettes/slides- they just clip onto the ear itself- nothing holding them on except the shape Tres syling!:D
