Evening!
I'm not sure about quidco. I have some payments at 'received', yet have had no payment into my bank account this month either. I'm wondering if there's a thread somewhere on here where we can find out if anybody else has been paid yet?
Lula - I'd try and get the Co-op card down as much as possible before the 0% runs out. Could you move it somewhere else in December though to get 0% again until it's paid off fully?
I might get wine in a minute. I am very  at the moment. Rant alert!! I went to Tesco this afternoon, took my bank statement in showing the duplicated grocery payments. I was told it could be a 'ghost payment' and might go back into my account in the next couple of days?
Not very happy, I took my bank statement and got a few things I'd forgotten in my shopping order, went to the till, paid, took card out. The assistant said 'Oh you took your card out too quickly, it didn't go through'. I thought it had said I could remove card, but wasn't 100% so didn't challenge her about it and just put it back in the machine again. I remember thinking though 'Oh God, I hope that's not another lot of groceries charged for twice...' because that is the kind of thing that would happen to me. Came home and forgot about it. Speaking to a friend about the payment from earlier this week, I decided to call up A&L. Got through to a very nice guy in Customer Services. I said I was calling about a duplicate transaction from Tesco and he said 'Oh the one for £14.03?' Me - 'You're joking? That's gone out twice aswell?' Ended up explaining the whole situation to him and he's going to look into both of them for me. So next week, I need to take my bank statement back to Tesco AGAIN and then try and sort out the second duplicate transaction! I can feel some letter writing coming on...if they want me to keep shopping there, they've really got to stop charging me twice

Hmmmm,
that's interesting ... It's not that long since I got the Barclaycard rate reduced so hadnt thought of asking for any more deals for a while.
You're right of course  as the balance on the co op card is only £1000 so obviously the interest will be much less than on Barclaycard. Well, obvious to anyone other than me that is :o Thank goodness you're here :A
Clearly this tea malarkey is doing me no good at all so I'm off to pour myself a Pink Elephant, back in a bit ...0 -
Oh Gwen, how annoying:eek:. You definitely need wine. Can't believe the till charged you twice:eek:. I would definitely give Tesco a miss for a while until everything is sorted out so you don't have any more tesco transactions on your account to complicate things.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0

I've just had an email from Quidco, £43.47 paid! Their ears must have been burning
Or they were worried they'd be next to get a letter from me :rotfl: Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
 & to double charging Gwen,
here, pass your glass & dont get me started on Tatco
I've just checked out any Barclaycard deals & the only one I'm eligible for is the 6.9 % life of balance transfer deal, but can transfer a maximum of £3,800 so I'm now thinking that I should perhaps transfer my Capital One balance - about £2,000 - over for the 6.9 % deal so can then close the Capital One account & consign it to history :j. I can still clear as much as possible off the co op card & keep this as the one to use.
I am love love loving sarahs idea of using it all the time & then paying it off in full :T I cant actually start that until January when wages will be paid direct into the bank but it is a fab plan & this is why you are the guru
How strange, I just had a glass of wine & now it's empty

Don't do that until the barclaycard is clear or you will end up paying the cheaper bit first ie the transfer and all the while the expensive bit (the bit already on there) will keep having interest applied. (apologise if you already knew that, I am just worried about you getting a huge bill)I am love love loving sarahs idea of using it all the time & then paying it off in full :T
I do this with one of mine, have never paid any interest on it, I use it for general shopping and have had £50 so far:jPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Raise a ticket with them Sarah. They were really helpful when I did mine.

:j glad you've had some good news at last.
Sarah - I really want to have an intelligent conversation and glean some useful information but there's an elephant charging around the room & I am finding it hard to concentrate
Ultimately I want to prove to co op card peeps that I am a worthy & upstanding card holder so my limit is increased & I can then reduce Barclaycard limit. I have only had this card for 6 months & have only ever paid £30 above the minimum required as no interest so far. I do agree with your point about paying more interest in total if I dont pay the money off the Barclaycard but my instincts are telling me to pay the co op card off first.
I bank with co op & have no other interest or dealings with Barclays, my paltry savings account - into which quidco may one day be paid  - is with another bank. Should / does this make any difference

Gwenx
I had to raise a ticket to get it tracked in the first place:mad: Am annoyed now because I have never had any problem with them before. I hate raising tickets, I will leave it until next month and then post on the quidco thread if I don't get it as I would like it by Christmas, am also hoping to use quidco for a few presents so I hope this is a one off.
