Sarah, you havent missed the big family at all, you just need a simple plan: work really hard to get your house deposit together, get the house, get knocked up, and then squeeze one out yourself before your deadline. After that you can adopt more till you have reached your required level. Simples!

    :T Problem solved:D

I have one more day until I have to start being very mean indeed.:D The food cupboard is looking okay, I have enough petrol for a couple of weeks, plenty of toiletries (:o) and books and clothes galore so I won't need to be spending much for a while I hope. Will have to take each day as it comes and keep plodding on.

I am going to update my sig everyday as it is so easy for me to lose track of stuff. I have no idea how I am going to get to £20k, just that I am going to do it. I am going to try to make a payment a day to something, even if it just £1 to make sure that I am in control of my money, rather than it being in control of me. I intend to have my ISA full, my house savings looking healthy and clear cc cards by this time next year.

I know I am always full of plans and schemes :o but I think that will work out fine, even if I have different ways of saving more or spending less I will still keep the £20k as my main challenge, it doesn't much matter how I get there as long as I do.

Has anyone had an email about this month's quidco payment yet? I have about £80 waiting to be paid this month, but none of it is actually showing as being paid by the companies yet and I am worried it is going to roll over into another month again.

Mine was okay all day - granary toast for brekkie, salad bowl and low fat yoghurt for lunch and a fishcake and peas for tea BUT I am having a wee cider and a few squares of chocolate now. And tomorrow is a night on the p*** (yippee) so that won't be great. Been much better this week than last though.

Sarah you will get there with everyone's help. I will be about 90 before I can afford a house so I'm living vicariously through you!

    Hey everyone

I'm knackered, was on Hallowe'en / Guy Fawkes patrol at work so have marched for miles looking for piles of rubbish and for kids setting off fireworks in dangerous ways.

Looking forward to this weekend, it's my b'day on Tues so I'm out for dinner tomorrow with one set of friends, I'm staying over and then we're going for Sunday lunch as well......

Tru Blood has just started up on Ch 4 - I've only seen 2 eps but am loving it sooo much. i need to go to bed though....
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
