Lol. I'm going to a free night at the beginning of the month too. New bar opening, I'm in, me,me!!!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Ha I love it when a new bar opens and they give out ridiculous amounts of free food/drink... one memorable night a bar was giving out tickets for free guinness... most of mine and my brothers mate don't drink it so gave us the vouchers...The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

Im still cheerful!
Yesterday I came home to find my terraced home had been abused.
My back gate was wide open, my shed forced open around the wood and padlock still locked. tools messed with, then noticed decorating ladders against pebbledash at left of upvc door. Door tried to be forced in three places. then noticed bathroom window wide open and water pipe from shower and bath waste had come out of the insert pipe.
They had tried top opener kitchen window too but failed. They have jammed the lock on the three lever lock door but the top and bottom still locked. Not much damage just leverage on the plastic surround. Two policemen called, they were brill, took statement checked damage. then they asked neighbours, nobody noticed.
Phoned insurance, man coming out next wed to assess the door, it could be repaired hopefull cause I am not going to pay for new door if its still intact on the lock.
Two more policemen today, forensics and one on his bike.
Last night my friends partner who is 6ft put the ladders back in shed (cant open back door or unlock) and he screwed shed shut and gate shut with large screws and drill.
Forensic lady could only take glove marks from inside of bathroom window. she was very nice. other policeman spoke to company behind my terrace, they have no cctv but are installing better cameras to point at the rear of street and their storage yard and improving lighting.
I on other hand have got my gate measured, waiting for price to fit and ordering one from cocklestorm in radcliffe. Mum has offered to pay for it. Then plan for weekend with my daughter is to go to b and m bargains for cafe rods and look at large blind for kitchen window as i did not have one before. Also one of those wireless alarms.
Im pretty cheerful still, prob because i feel secure and just so glad they did not get in and ruin my house.
Had to complain to royal mail too as my parcel had been left in the back yard and the burglar did not take it, but it was technics cd player that I won for 99p it is 20 years old but i recently acquired the old hifi from 1987 my dad had and am building it up again, just need speakers now.
My mum is also being scammed, she recieved a letter from a solicitor in mcr, certain person is claiming ot have tripped and had personal injury in oct 2008 on the unadopted path at the back of her house. she was upset, so solicitor has advised her to reply back with the fact she is recently widowed and the land is unadopted and she knew nothing about it. The scrote is trying it on because they prob heard my dad died. Anyway it wont wash because her insurance co can deal with it if it goes further.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -

Butterflies there are low lifes where ever you are, if I caught someone trying to rob me they'll be needing an hospital bed there worse than scrotes, the trouble is it's mainly addicts who do the robbing.
Off to see a band tomorrow night unfortunatly it isn't free alcohol but it is free in, but should be a good night out, 1 of the drivers at work is coming cos I've told him there really good and he's fetching some friends, and they better not be typical overweight drivers.
Still doing well at not spending too much not bought any rubbish, and enjoying the library, and I should pot this on the clothes challenge I've looked at these boots on Schuh website for the last 2 weeks and I haven't bought them, really chuffed with myself, cos lets be honest black boots are on sale all the time, and I won't have space for them.0 -
Hi eco,
well done on resisting the boots, if only I had your willpower and reasoning0 -
