It's totally worth it! You can get a smaller one if you don't want to make 8-10 portions at a go and freeze them.
They are very cheao to use, about the same cost as a 60W light bulb! Also because you buy ingredients in larger amounts it works out cheaper. Then there is the fact that you only have to cook in it once or twice a week maximum to get enough food for the next fortnight!
Personally I try to do 2-3 different things, portion and freeze them then I have a whole variety of meals just sat in my freezer. 7mins in the microwave and nom nom nom!The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha
I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.0 -
Hi everyone, had a fantastic week cos I booked most of it off work, been to the Dales twice, took my neice yesterday, and god it was windy as we were going up this slope, I could hardly hear her because of the wind which was lucky cos as soon as she worked out we had to go up this hill she was swearing like a trooper, she wasn't amused when I kept saying sorry I missed that, she needs her mouth washing out with soap, on the way back to the car she said she'd enjoyed herself.
Shopping tomorrow and I'm going to treat myself with vouchers I've collected and going to get the mail cos there's a 20% voucher for Debenhams, so that shouldn't cost a lot money wise, and it's my birthday tomorrow and I'm 18 again, going to a gig in 2 weeks for my birthday and there should be quite a few of my friends there.
Just finished painting some doors and going to put some new handles on tomorrow, then I've just got the skirting in my bedroom and a bit of touch up on the walls in my bedroom and hall and I should finally have finished the most boring job on this planet decorating, just got to get a new stairs carpet before I get my barge and leave and I won't have to spend any more money on my house, just got to get rid of more junk.
What's everyone doing this weekend?0 -
Good for you eco -
I've put my decorating mojo away for now .. I'm just focused on fitness & debt freedom for now.
No exciting plans here - need to dig a couple of holes to plant fruit trees, make a list of the seeds we need, tackle the paperwork & plan to do some serious lounging too - have 2 new mags & 5 books to dive into.
I am having a gordon though to celebrate the 6 Nations0 -
Hi all well think the grieving has caught up with me. Last weekend I went shopping with mum running her to b and q and around bury. Sunday I drove down to pick up my daughter from chester and we went to lady heyes craft centre and then later we had lunch and then to her riding lesson at half two. Was a good day, but when I got back my neighbours decided to have a loud orgy in their bedroom while i threw things at the wall and then had to talk through the wall and tell them I could still hear them. My bed is at other side of room, but you could hear everything.
That upset me, then the week at work was busy and stressful with calls coming in. then wednesday i took mum to see her sister and my cousins new baby, so that was a full day and it was my day off and I now regret not sitting at home relaxing.
This week i have felt tearful at work and quiet and just wanted to retreat into myself. So this weekend is mine. Im off to a 21st tomorrow and sunday will stay at home all day then off mon and tuesday.
I just keep feeling sad and low and trying to remain positive which is really hard.
I think all the running around has caught up with me.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Take it easy, Butterflies X
I'm working tomorrow then out for a posh lunch on Sunday. House is all clean and tidy so will be able to just relax tomorrow night after hopefully going for a drink with my friend straight from work.
Enjoy all X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -

thanks everyone, went shopping and had £70 in vouchers and didn't see anything I wanted to buy, nearly had a strop in Debenhams as I always fing something in there, but when the jeans I tried on didn't suit me i thought I may as well go home, still on the bright side still got my vouchers for another day.
butterflies the greiving is hard I remember in the early days of losing my mum I'd hear people prattling on about mindless stuff and think is that all you've got to worry about, and the urge to rant at them was hard to resist, I made the mistake of telling myself I'd feel better in 3 months time and when 3 months rolled round and I felt no better it seemed to put me on an even bigger downer, in time it does get easier but it's a hard slog, and it's tiring as well, and if you want to cry cry, I think it makes me feel better if I let it all out.0 -
Thanks eco I will take your advice and hope you have a lovely birthday xxxxxxxxxMortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230
