    Hello all:)

Have been tidying and decluttering for part of the day, found a few more things for ebay but am not doing any more for the next couple of months so have stored those away, added a few things I found at the back of the wardrobe which I don't need now but would be good for when I move so have those stored away and just had a general tiy up.

Had my hair cut an it looks a lot better so am happy with that, I didn't take the money out of my £100 as it has needed doing for the last month but today was the only day I could get an appointmment so it doesn't count:p.

Today was the start of my £100 challenge, went shopping as I had a voucher for £4 off £20, I tried to stick to £20 but must have miscalculated as I ended up spending £22 but I think it will last me at least a couple of weeks apart from milk and bread, was a struggle to fit it all in my cupboard so I think I am well stocked up:D I have another voucher for £4 off £20 for next week too and saw some lovely bedding (which I am in desparate need of) for £20 so may go and get it next week if I haven't talked myself out of it. I have £78 ish left but have a couple of things to do this week, am going to get them done as cheaply as possible though:)

    On the debt free front
    • posted my ebay parcels
    • found 1p for the pot:D
    • got a free mug and 10 pens from the freebies board
    • have been working my way through the "sneaky ways to save the pennies" thread
    • free coffee and a read through lots of mags at the hairdressers
    • got a £2 coin for my pot
    • saved £4 and got 300 nectar points on my shopping
    • found some more things for ebay
    • washing at 30 and line drying
    • store cupboard meals
Not exactly a cheap day but could have been worse:D
    Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000
June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40
    Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j

Evening all, had a good/bad weekend, went to the reunion Saturday night and 1 of my oldest male friends we suggested getting married, I said could we discuss it again when were 50, as I'm too young(37) and still have loads of stuff to do before I die, I'm still not sure if he was joking, he gets a bit shy about talking about stuff like that.
Went to see my uncle on Monday who's terminally ill, but my cousins were there an it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, think I got a speeding ticket on the way back, I could kick myself.
Anyhow redeemed some points and am getting £30 in Halfords vouchers, and I've won £109 on TAB bingo, can't beleive that tho, but it's been transferred to my bank account.

Shoegal you'll love Florida I did, but then I'm a big kid and the theme parks were fantastic especially the fireworks, wish I was going, and the green eyed look doesn't suit me.

I'm stopping in, I've been in the garden most of the day so a bit tired.

Why do my friends go to the pub and log onto facebook on there phones to tell the world there out, is it me or is it advertising the fact your house is empty so any potentail burglars get round there quick, I also think it's sad that the people your out with aren't entertaining enough, or am I a party pooper.

I also spent most of the day in the garden too & read posts last night but after just one Gordon I was wasted so just gazed at the Rock n Roll thing on BBC2 instead, then annoyingly fell asleep just as the Led Zep concert began .

As to going out & having to tell the world via facebook that you are indeed out ... Sad berks :rotfl:Seems to me that people no longer get on with living, they feel this pathetic need to inform everyone that they are, which actually gives me the impression that they arent, as surely if they were out having the time of their lives, then they would be too busy to be logging on ? :undecided

    * feels very glad to have grown up & done partying in youth without constant technological intervention *...

ie we organized what we were doing & then went out, got wasted, partied, clubbed, gigged, holidayed or whatever & all without once being bothered by someone ringing us or emailing us or feeling the need to inform anyone else that we were having fun, we just were :p.

*stomps off back to 1980 something when Stonehenge was accessbile to all & didnt cost a small fortune to camp at & hang out & enjoy the music & general 'vibe *

I knew I wasn't alone in that thought, facebooks good but there's a load of drivel on it.
  • I was working yesterday and today had a lie in till 9am then got ready and went off to get some bits, bread, cheese sauce, pasta sauces x 2, ham, eggs, cat food, toilet roll all for under £10 in total. then hoovered stairs went out on bike ride and played with my new phone with its 8.1 meg pxl camera.

I got a good deal, i was on pay as you go with o2 and my nokia 6230i was four years old and looking it and now 02 do a ten pound a month contract with unlimited texts and 50 min calls. I mostly text so its a two year contract and got a free sony ericsson w995, decided i wanted a phone with good camera. Im really pleased with it. Ive also moved my calls on landline and rental to o2 at £9.50 a month and as I have my broadband already discounted to £7.50 a month its all a good deal. Bt tried to charge me £86.86:eek: for cancelling before the calls moved on the 4/6/10 but I had already phoned them on the 2nd june to inform them. I now should get no charges cheeky !!!!!!s and the indian lady did not understand me so the supervisor sorted it out for me and gave me his name and dept in india in case it all goes wrong.

Has three messages from pof men but they all smoked and hardly had anything in their profile. Sometimes Im interested and sometimes I am not:cool:

  • I was in good mood when I came home from work and then i saw soil all over my front path again from next door at number 18 and they keep pushing the soil up against my fence high so it falls over to my side whereas before the soil level was just below the fence

So again I have swept it all up and thrown it back over. Then as I am sat down for my tea the other neighbour on the other side with his mate have set fire to his law, flames leaping high and nearly caught onto my little fence. Now I know why I could smell petrol the other night when I had my bedroom window open. His front flags are now black and the black mess is covered with plastic. What happened to the spade and turning over the lawn. Next thing his mate throws a cardboard tube over the fence on to the embankment opposite our houses where there are gorgeous bushes. I nearly ran out and shouted at him but I thought whats the point in upsetting another neighbour.

Just really peeved that some people dont care how they affect others. Anyway I am cheerful besides that and still enjoying life. Been applying for jobs, the pension adminstrator I applied for I got a letter to say I was not chosen for shortlist. But carrying on now.:T

Dead pleased with my new free phone now, the old one I will get £13.50 for!
