Hello all:). Have been thinking about not having a man and decided I really can't be bothered at the moment. I am too busy, I am too tired, I am trying to get this place ship shape so I can move out, I really want to concentrate on getting some money together and being as frugal as possible, I don't want to be spending money on going out or new clothes etc (would turn down a mini break right now even though I have just the right bag:)) I am too fat and want to get my weight down to a reasonable level. Quite franky a man would be in the way. (Unless he was rich, I'm not stupid:o).

I want to get anything non essential ebayed off but am way past the initial excitement and just want it gone, am sick of constantly photographing/typing/queueing. Am planning a big push to get everything gone by June so I can finally have some space back. Am sick of doing a few things a week, am going to take a week off and list every single thing I want rid of and then start sorting the rest to be used/thrown/charity shopped/car booted. I always feel loads better when my living space is tidy and the constant mess is driving me mad. There are bags of potential things to sell and wrapping stuff everywhere and I need it gone so I can take stock.

I need to start thinking and behaving like a grown up and basically get my act together. I have to stop drifting along waiting for things to happen. Am not particularly happy or unhappy, am just bored, need a new challenge, want to get out of this place as soon as I can. I need to change my job and have a few ideas about this but am not going to do anything drastic just yet, am concentrating on clearing debt/moving house at the moment.

(Am feeling rather hormonal at the moment. I'm sure no one guessed though:)) I just really, really want my own house.:)

Aww sarah I was hormonal last week if you remember my post. I have my own house and keep considering selling and getting a council flat to save money. But its my home, the mortgage is paid every month etc and I have made it my own.

What would help from the government.
Reduce the council tax back down to £50 a month (thats what it was in 2002 when I moved in) its now £73
reduce the gas and electric prices.
    reduce the car tax prices
Help for those earning £14,500 a year.

Hey ladies, back from Mum and Dads and been babysitting tonight. Saw my FWB earlier and Mum is being taken into hospital by end of month deffo so all in all a fabby day.

I too have decluttered today. Not much to declutter really but my hall was doing my head in so Mum got me a new basket thing and I have the old carpy ones ready for recycling. Have also sorted the wardrobe a bit and got the place all clean ready for going back to work tomorrow.

Not sure I like this being a grown up idea though, but do love living with me, myself and I!!!!

Hiya, I've got to bore you all to death and tell you about my cherries, I've had my dwarf cherry tree 4 yrs and it's flowered for the last 2, and this morning I've seen little cherries growing, as well as having broad bean and pea pods I'm so excited, like they say small things please small minds.

I've been to see my flat again, which was great. It is nearly there and hopefully i'll be moving in, in around 4 -6 weeks :j:j

My parents came and a friend with her husband and baby and I did lunch for us and we were able to sit out in the garden which was lovely.

I got the stamp of approval from my parents and friends so that was good!!

I really need to sort out some of my things and think about packing now as well.

I might go through my CDs today and check out music magpie and work out if I can let any of them go.

I've been super busy at work and am really tired with all the gym classes I'm doing but hopefully my stamina will pick up a bit. I think part of it is also that I can't get to grips with an early night. I really need to work on that!!

Eco - sounds really exciting to be getting cherries through. I love cherries - I hope the birds don't get them all though

Hope you're all enjoying the weather - I'm tempted to sit in the garden reading but really should do something more useful!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

    Hello all:)

    It's too hot:(

Weighed myself this morning and haven't lost anything:(. It's too hot ot eat though, so hopefully it will be better news next week.

Had a huge panic attack about money last night:( but managed to calm yself down with targets for things etc, I know I can do it and I just need one big push and that by Christmas everything should be okay. Am just sick of everything being on hold all the time. :( I am determined to be out of here by next summer and I know I can do it, am just sick of the waiting. I am hoping to do some overtime at work and get on with being frugal and I should be fine, just keep having little wobbles. :(

On the plus side I have done lots of decluttering, moved all the things I have here for my new home into baskets to be easily moved when I do go, have a few things ending on ebay tonight, did a survey for £3, have been looking through some motivational books, moved some money from savings to cc:(, coins in piggy, done four loads of washing, resisted looking on ebay, got some points vouchers for Sainsburys so planning a very frugal shop this week, bought some foundation on 342 (was down to very last drop but waited until it was on offer), found a few more things to sell (really can't be bothered today, am going to leave it a couple of weeks), got 2x £2 coins for pot and have not used my car all weekend.

It still feels like I am moving along very slowly though.:( At least it's all in the right diection.:)

You are doing great Sarah, just by virtual of the fact you are still moving. I have stalled for the last couple of months - Half term is going to work miracles!

The turnaround in you is great Sarah, go back and re some of you earlier posts, you now have barely any debt, some savings, a plan, and are e baying far better then me - remember when you said you couldn't do it?

and here you are doing it brilliantly xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Hi all been doing the canal again today at agecroft cutting trees and shovelling moss and grass off the coping stones with the rest of the working party for british waterways. Spoken to the guy I am currently chatting to and he seems nice, we may be meeting up next weekend after he comes back of holiday from scotland. this morning I opened the back door to find to baby rabbits back legs and fluffy tail staring at me. the culprit is charlie my 8 yr old male cat, ate everything except the legs. Poor bunny. worked my sat this week and then went to a colleagues wedding do, but was driving there and back from bolton. Skint still, but this week working till thurs then off friday sat sun mon tuesday.

Got lots of ironing to do but really tired and hot so will have to wait till tomorrow or tuesday.

Still applying for jobs non-stop. I am feeling positive so far.
