Hello all:)
Not much to report, am sitting here with a glass of wine and looking forward to the weekend, not looking forward to getting up tomorrow as am tired and have a busy day planned at work.:( Will have a very long lie in on Saturday to compensate.
I have opened a savings account for my ebay earnings, I was going to use them to pay off the cc but the situation with the car did worry me somewhat and I want to have some money put aside for any little emergencies like that as I am determined not to use the cc again under any circumstances. I am also keeping my quidco money set aside as I am going to use that for any things I may need for when I move, although I can probably furnish a flat fairly easily with the things I already have:o
I have divided my cc debt into 100 chunks and am trying to make equal overpayments and have a little chart drawn up to tick off whenever I make a payment:o:D Feels a little silly but it is good for motivation:D. When all 100 payments are made I can start looking for a flat:jHave made 2 in the last 2 days:D
I received £6.xx from TCB yesterday, collected my £2 lottery win and put it in the sealed pot (which is getting quite heavy now:j) and received £3 vouchers for a survey I did last week. It all adds up:)
I also have 20 items up on ebay, £5 worth of bids but lots of watchers so that should improve by the weekend. Am struggling to find things to put on there for the weekend but should manage to get a few at least. Am going to be ruthless and get rid of anything superfluous to new flat but need another declutter first. It's a shame books don't sell too well on there, or anywhere really, I could make quite a bit from that:D

Have you tried Green Met Sarah? Self Help books do really well on there or what about car boot sales? could you do one of those - if you are selling novel typebooks
I am going to put some of my self help books on Green Met, if work EVER slows down I am going to get back to the e bay ness.
you are quite the inspiration

Hiya, I'm back wasn't going to log back on tonight but I feel more positive now, maybe it's cos I don't have to go to work, but anyway I'm sorry for earlier I sounded like a whinger, and Buffy's right a bit of bad news and all the good stuff goes out the window, so onwards and upwards and all that, going to have a good weekend and a lie in tomorrow, enjoy your days whatever your doing.
So sorry to hear about your uncle eco, my dad is back home now after having his op in jan cancer of the kidney, bladder and prostrate all removed now and bags in place. But i fear it will somehow come back, its a nasty thing cancer.
I feel much better towards the end of this week. My doctor has put me on citalopram which is what I used 10 yrs ago. I spoke to my ex-bf to get closure and he explained he did not want to hurt me and he could end up in australia very soon and has got a four year visa to go, jobs are over there for him and its his dream. I told him i was not angry at him and told him how I felt the monday this week and he apologised as he did not realise it would affect me that much.:o
But anyway now i understand his reasoning I can now move on and try to enjoy my life. I applied for a job last week and got an email reply to say i was rejected but thanked for the the application and my cv is being altered as i speak. I have to remain positive in some way, but I have noticed that my appetite has been affected. Last three days i cant eat breakfast, can only manage a banana and yoghurt for lunch and no snacks only drinks, but when i have tried to eat tea i can only manage a few mouthfuls and get bored with it. Just dont feel hungry - is this normal?;)Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
Hey Butterflies - glad you feel you have some closure. That is a good thing. I would say that eating only a banana and yogurt for one meal and then hardly any tea is not normal!!!! And not a good thing either. There are no carbs or protein in that (well some protein the yog but can't believe there is much).
How about something really easy to make like cheese on toast? Or even peanut butter sandwiches (nuts good source of protein)???
I've splurged on some Scissor Sister tickets......I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't stop myself from emailing my pals to get a gang together for it. I know it will be a fab night and I'm really looking forward to it but I'm soooo carp at being frugal.....
I'm off to my friends tonight and we're just going to stay in and watch some telly. I'm sure I've got some wine around that I can take with me.
Payday is on 20th so can't wait for then. I've got quite a bit of overtime..I think...coming. (where's the fingers crossed smiley when you need it??)
No news really on my flat which is starting to concern me other than there is an open day thing next week which means I can go in and see my finished flat and measure up and all that. Very exciting!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Hi well I am eating a bit more, but read the side effects for citalopram and it says loss of appetite and nausea and excessive yawning which is what is affecting me. Yesterday I went for a walk around the market in bury and got two skin creams for £2.50 one is sainsburys and the other is Dove energy glow cream. Running out so had to get some. I also got a book biography of Coleen Nolan Personal and Upfront for £2.99 in hardback so thats something for me to read and relax me a bit. I went to see my parents my dad said try not to worry but my mum was not really interested in how I felt which is normal to her. I also did the garden and put my free plants in that I got off freecycle.
Also chatting to someone on pof called lawrence - but wondering if its too soon to chat to someone. I still occ think of andy but will it wear off soon??
I know it was only a month with andy but I can look back on it with fondness.:)
Otherwise I am really trying to remain positive about the future.
I want to have a holiday this year but I know I cant spare the money for it, so wish I knew someone who had a caravan or something!:)Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -

I've lost weight too around my middle area because of the stress and tablets I think. Just been on a bike ride and it was cold. No tv on today just going to try and read. have sent the guy on pof a text to say hi, he seems nice but I often wonder if I am doing the right thing but I hate being single at the moment and want someone to care for
Its my daughters party on the 4th june, but I am not going because a certain person (her cousin) who is 26 always takes over and has made my daughters cake since she was a baby and even though I have spoken to my daughters dad about the fact that why should she make the cake its for her mother to do, he believes its better that way. Now this cousin I can't stand because she is bossy and takes over everything to do with gemma and I once had a row with her at chester zoo because it was mine and gemmas day out and gemma knew her cousing was going to be there and gemma started following her around and her cousin did not help by coercing gemma away from me. I lost my cool and told her what I thought of her and told her to stop trying to take over my daughter. Gemma was not happy about that but I told her that Iwas her mum and nobody else.
Me and gemma are better celebrating her birthday the weekend before or after and mine is due on the 14th june so double celebration. So to avoid the stress for myself my relatives and friends have said to me if you cant cope with her being there then don't go. I will explain to my daughter and besides she is having the party at laserquest in cheshire oaks and all her friends will be there and I dont want to be left on my own having to make false polite conversation with the ex and his sister and niece.
I have decided to get my daughter the lady gaga album as I can only afford one present this year for her.Mortgage Free 2016Work Part Time:DHouse Hunting In France 20230 -
