sarah - well done for returning unfabby & unwow stuff now, so that you dont have to ebay it in 6 months time ;)

Exactly:D I want the full amount back asap, not half the value in 6 months, plus it is cluttering up the place and making it look untidy. I will send it back when I go to the P.O tomorrow with my 7:j ebay parcels.

I've been ebaying too, but more the bidding variety ...

I try to keep away from all pages except my own, far too tempting. I assume that as a frugalista you have simply been buying household necessities ;):).

Thanks Buffy:) I am actually quite impressed with myself, I feel like an old hand at it already:D I remember I was dithering about getting a camera and it was you who pointed out that it is better to have your own photos up there as it shows you have the item in your posession and I do think it has made a difference to my sales, so thanks for that:A

I'm feeling really stressed at the moment. Almost every decision seems to be the wrong one and this is causing me a lot of grief.

makeup I've had loads of mortgages (which is a weird thing to write on the day I've moved into my first rented flat for 13 years).

Did you get my PM from a couple of weeks ago?

I'm sure this can all be sorted out; drop me a line if you need a hand.

I doubt you would be slammed but I honestly think sometimes it is better to get slammed cos some one might help even if they were rude about it! I mean I asked about mortgages on there and they were very helpful.Although I am glad Dan has popped in hi Dan

I'm sure that wouldn't happen. Having said that I did get accused on another board of making the most "shallow and cynical" post ever, but I did get some helpful advice as well. I think the trick is not to care what people you don't know and will never meet think of you.

Anyway I don't think there's too much to be scared of posting about this. I'll reply to your PM now.

Hi makeup, I remember when I had to buy my ex out of the mortgage, I'd decided to stick with the same company he used cos to be honest I hadn't got involved that much with it and didn't have a clue, the next time I remortgaged I understood it better and think I'm finally getting there, also my mum bought a council house back in the 80's I remember her using the company they recommended and it took ages, it's a good job it was a house we already lived in as I'm sure it took over 6 months, what I'm trying to say is it's daunting at first but you will get your head round it and if your gut instinct is telling you to check better deals it's worth the extra agro, and checking the mortgage board, someone on there might be in the same boat as you.

Thank you everyone. I've re-read my post and realised how stupid I'm being.

who cares if I get given a hard time - if I also get some sound advice!

On the good news front, my cabinet is now at home. A very kind colleague agreed to pick it up for me from the shop and he wouldn't even accept me buying his lunch for him so I definitely owe him a big favour!

It is also bigger than I remembered so my crazy - push it home on a trolley - plan was definitely ridiculous!!!
I've got my own flat :j:j
