    Evening oh fabby ones,

Glad to hear the karma seems to be improving a bit _ fingers still crossed for you Bowski.

My day certainly ended better than it started which was by being drenched head to foot by inconsiderate parent driver whizzing through puddle .

The bosses seem to have chosen me as the ultimate pawn in their game of scoring points off & contradicting eachother & who can give me the least information in the most confusing way. I usually deal with this but with no wages in my account my humour was lacking. Told accounting dept that nothing had gone in & was told that it would be in by the end of the day. Kept checking my account until I was given my payslip at which point I remarked 'thank you, but a pay slip wont actually pay my bills'. Phone call was made & it turns out that I had been missed off the payroll :mad:. I think I may have been glowering - never used that word before but I reckon it's an accurate description of my features at that point - & it was decided that a transfer would be made directly to my account :).

It was in my account by the time I got home, so I will go to work tomorrow rather than hold a one woman protest.

I have also had a £4 payout from Quidco & another £3 paypal payment from survey so happier than I was this morning.

The family irritation rumbles on, interference & denial of knowledge of things that were explained in person . I have to let it all go over me or I will end up expressing myself too clearly.

I am feeling very impatient & irritable & apologise for being all ranty & moany. Will go & moan elsewhere & leave you all in peace :D
  • Oh dear guys seems the holiday season is doing nothing for our collective good cheer.
Remember that song- One day at a time? My mum used to love it.

Not yet, to be honest I hate all the faffing around, I like things to be easy and hate having to do any work. I know one thing, I won't be going near the RAC for anything ever again:mad:. I think I will raise one if it doesn't show by the end of the year but am worried by things I have seen on here about the RAC never paying out and wonder if it is worth the hassle. I will give it one try and see what happens.

It's got to be worth a go, hasn't it? How much was it? £70? That's quite a lot of money really. I raised a ticket about the Vodafone payment being stuck at tracked. They replied saying they'd chased it up and it should pay out in 60 days. It's now moved to validated and to be honest, I'll be surprised if it does pay out within 60 days (i.e. before 2010), but I'm not giving up. I want my £90!! Grrr...
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

Hey guys & thanks for support :A.

I just typed out a huge rant, expressing myself very clearly & saying exactly what I wanted to then deleted it & feel so much better.

Bring on December & may everyone have their Quidco payouts :D cars easily & cheaply fixed, inches lost & dreams come true ...

    night night

Pinch & Punch etc etc (make mine the alcoholic liquid variety please:D)

    December has started ok in Lulaville;

Work ok-ish, expressed my frustration at conflicting instructions & now have new directions. Got to visit big customers new exhibition & gently flirt with men :)

Christmas do has been moved again, now to the same day that DD is at panto, not sure if this is helpful or not but do now have extra 5 days to decurve :)

Picked a guy I've never spoken to for secret santa

Have so much Home-Job work that I will probably be up til early hours :(

This does mean that pennies are still rolling in though :)

    It's been a NSD :)

Must go make more coffee  & will pop back later if not too tired

Hope it's been a good start for everyone else :D

    Hello All

    Hurrah for 1st December!!!

I hope this month works out well for all the lovely SAID's!

I came home last night and was fuming about state of kitchen - our flat is always in a state so I cleaned the kitchen. It looked lots better and appears to still be in a good way. Although I took the bin out and discovered we've run out of bin bags  Why on earth didn't the person who used the last one either buy some more or mention it????:mad:

Anyway my Simply Be order has arrived so going to have trying-on session.

Also received a Bailey Advent calendar (sadly not with mini bottles behind each door) but does have some yummy recipes!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
