  • Thanks Shoe Gal, you too:D. Am determined to have a good end to the year, surely something good will happen between now and then:confused:.

I think that yet again I will have to give up on the current year and declare that the next one is going to be my year. Which I do every year. One year I may even be right:rolleyes:

:j:j:j sarah :D Apart from the 'celeb' bit - I am allergic to Ant and Dec

Hmmmm, I have the very same allergy.

Grrrr to crappy day sarah, am also not enjoying the final throes of November. Apologies for ranting again :

Spoke to normal sis earlier, she's had the invoice for the memorial bench £630 . I then opened email from distant yet curiously interfering aunt. My other & completely abnormal sis has been whingeing about being left out again ... hmmm does she mean left out from not thanking me for presents sent to her & 2 offspring ? Or left out from not even Fuciking bothering to reply to my Dads letter about said memorial bench & tree planting ? Wonder just how left out she's going to feel when asked if she would care to share the cost of bench .

Oh & just to make things even more fun, having just assured my sis that I can easily do a transfer to her account for my share of the bill ... my wages have not appeared in my account

Oh, hello Rosa, good to hear from you :D Have also been wondering how you are & was hoping that you had been 'whisked' ;) A masters will probably be far more rewarding though , & I now have skint parent & no siblings envy :o.

Have just finished last glass of wine :(

Everything was going fine until about 6:20 when I took my sister home and on the way back, as I was driving my radio switched off, rev counter went right down and milage reset  then it went back to normal, then 2 mins later did it again  So I got home turned the car off tried to switch it back on again and nothing.... just nothing.... Completely dead! boohooo hooo hooo hooo!

Does anybody have any idea what it could be? I really can't afford to pay another penny towards it

  • Sorry you are also having a carppy time Lula, how annoying about the wages, I hate it when anything goes wrong with my pay, I rang my payroll last week about my suspiciously low pay and it turned out to be correct:mad:. I hope you manage to get things sorted out with your sister, what a cheek to not thank you for the presents.

    Thanks sarah,

am very very stressy when it comes to my wages, am used to being paid weekly in cash so having to wait an entire month & then for it not to be there is not doing much for my good humour . Nor is it doing much for my debt repayment

Aaaaaaaggggggh Bowski - that is very very crappy :( I'm by no means knowledgeable in things car ish, all I can suggest is either starter motor , or maybe its a bit damp . sorry hun, that's so rubbish for you. Maybe try asking on the motoring board or SBC is usually pretty knowledgeable if he's about.

What on earth is wrong with our collective karma . Are we not truly fabulous, kind & caring peeps who deserve better than this !!!!!!.

We need some very serious & intense positive thinking here.

God, what ***** days we've all had. I had a rotten one too. Tills were all wrong and got ratty with my staff (who I really like). Also silly customers who continually buy and then return stuff are driving me mad. Honestly it's the same folk every day. Just try the damn thing on, then you'll know if it fits!!! Simples!
Anyway have since had quite a few bevvies with my gay husband and another gay friend, watched the X and Celeb (Gay hubby hates Ant and Dec too) and am watching the South Bank show now. Here's to good Decembers for us all ladies XXX

Oh my God! Friday 13th was the other week, wasn't it?? What the hell is going on? We need December to come and fast! I'm sorry, Bowski, I have no idea what it could be. My knowledge of cars extends to checking the oil and that's about it :o I'm now scared to get in my car tomorrow...maybe I'll get the bus instead...

  • thanks Lula it's lovely to be missed! :grouphug:  @ wages and sis tho... *sigh* families, who'd have 'em?

'Whisking' would be lovely, at least there is more chance of that happening now that I actually have a social life. I've even met a couple of possibilities :D . The odd thing is that I feel much more vulnerable now I am really in a situation where a relationship could happen - I think I had been rather distracting myself before as I never had time on my hands to think about feeling alone, I always had something else I thought I should be doing. So that's a bit confusing. However new flatmate is turning out to be v helpful as my surrogate life coach :rotfl:. So far I have been informed that a job and a masters is quite enough and barred from any other activities, so no evening classes and no going back to martial arts - bit of a shame, but he is actually right as when I think about it I used to miss about half the classes anyway. As a compromise, I'm cooking more instead - much more flexible, plus it's healthy and helps with the MSing. Have also been informed that I will be seriously working on internet dating in the new year - ulp _pale_.

(Btw yes flatmate is lovely, but as have had to explain to several people now, he is also gay so not a possibility. However, unforeseen benefit of sharing with gay guy is that I don't have to wear sensible pj's any more - can't be accused of winding up flatmate or visiting boyfriends - so am enjoying slinking around the house in silk and having Nigella moments raiding cupboards. Strange that it seems much more elegant & sexy stuffing face while wearing silk nightie & robe than doing same while in pjs and fleece :D . May be deluding self, but don't care :rotfl:.)

Bowski, sorry to hear about car - not the day for them is it? I haven't a clue but you could try the techie forum on here.
