Oh how I love a friday night :D

Am impressed by your dedication to this cause - I feel I should join you in this campaign and so next time I'm in Co-Op shall hunt down this charitable wine venture.

Hello all, have spent all day in bed feeling sorry for myselficon9.gif. Managed not to be sick but have only had grapes and fruit juice and not moved from my bed except to go to the bathroom. Being ill is pantsicon9.gif Thank god for the Radio 5 and the internet to stave off boredom. Am supposed to be getting my hair cut tomorrow and want to do some shopping, am going to mightily peeved if I have to waste my weekend being ill.

TDQO, hope you are feeling better. Did you manage to find a wench?icon7.gif

    Get well soon!

I love having my hair cut so shall be disappointed on your behalf if you are feeling too ill tomorrow to make it!

Me too! On the Strongbow tonight, not great for the waistline I know! Glad I know what Pink Elephant is now.

makeup - no stocked freezer or cupboard, loads of spices etc in and a few bags of rice and pasta. This doesn't include toiletries, cleaning stuff or booze (EEK) so I still think it's too much. I do eat really well, use my SC, cook loads from scratch and take lunch to work EVERY day. I also do a months meal plan when I've cooked the mains with the ingredients from my online shop which i get on payday. I know this is geeky in the extreme but it's just so I have the rest of my cash for the good stuff, like nights out and seeing mates. Otherwise it's just frittering away my fun money! X

No I quite agree..... I keep intending to do the same myself but so far never really managed it. I'm such a slave to the bargains...especially bargain carp food (mini scotch eggs on special anyone? :o)

I've started having a meat delivery in addition to my veg box so I'm hoping that this means I won't have to visit Tatco too often and can reduce my spends that way.

I really really really need to stop my treats addiction though....I've hit the corner shop twice this week in search of chocolate

    Good girl :D

The amazing thing about not having consumed anything alcoholic for a week is how quickly a couple of glasses hit the system... rendering one incapable of typing a snetence without having to retreat & retype at least 3 times :o. I conclude that only drinking at the weekend is therefore very MS.

Hope you have a fab christmas do Souk, I've managed to wangle myself an invite to ours inspite of being such a newbie & just cant wait. we're having a meal & entertainment at a comedy club so should be great. I was on the phone the other day trying to deflect a sales call & turned round to see the boss wearing a pirate hat & brandishing a cutlass :rotfl:. Almost choked trying to stifle laughter, random things like that make me love this job :D

    Hello

Hope everybody's well (or at least getting better, sarahb). Sorry you're feeling blue ShoeGal. Souk is right, people in relationships aren't always as happy as you think, but I know what you mean, it can be difficult sometimes. Living on your own, having quite a full on job, trying to watch the money situation, it can all make being single quite difficult sometimes. Probably doesn't help that it's getting towards Christmas. Oh and a 1lb weightloss is fantastic!

I am home now - yay! I am absolutely shattered though. I've already had a nap tonight and am seriously struggling to keep my eyes open.

    Hello fabby ones,

    I've had my 12th NSD today so that's November's target achieved :D

Is everyone out partying tonight & am I really sad for being relieved that I dont have to go out into the cold wet, miserable night

I have wine, warmth, peanuts & water. I've done all the washing, cleaned all the windows, visited my Dad & tomorrow I'm going to do a bit of batch cooking, the minimum amount of ironing possible, sort out some outfits to wear to work for next week & then visit the nearby garden centre to see all the sparkly stuff :)

Hope everyone else is enjoying their week end & that you are feeling better today Sarah ?
  • I had a horrible night, felt dreadful and could not sleep, in the end I had a capful of night nurse which managed to finally knock me out, but I am feeling much better today although my ribs are still aching from all the throwing upicon9.gif.

I had my hair cut, I don't like it:mad: but the colour is much better and it won't take long to grow to the length I actually asked for. Why don't hairdressers listen?:mad:

Wasn't up to shopping so have just rested all day, I need to get myself into gear tomorrow though, my room is such a state I am ashamed to be in it and I have so much washing to do, just can't muster up the energy today.

I have weighed myself and lost nothing:mad: but I only officially count it on Sundays so hopefully something might show then.

Hope everyone has had a good dayicon7.gif

Awww sarah, sorry that your have now had to suffer at the hands of errant hairdresser. I'm fortunate to have a friend who is one & frankly I wont let anyone else touch my hair. I dont have great hair, just dont really enjoy having people fussing about with me. Makes me want to slap their hands :o.

Good luck with the chores, nothing worse than clearing up after having been ill. Will be thinking of you :D
