Hope everyone has had a better day today, especially Bowski and your car, I hate car problems. Hopefully it will be as SBC said and therefore not to expensive.

Am listing all the good things that happened today even though they were small as I am going to try just thinking of the positive side of things in the hope it brings more positivity:
    • My car started first time this morning
    • I found the code for the radio (me and the journey to work without the radio just do not mix)
    • I think I am just going to do the remainder of my Christmas shopping online as it is exhausting me to even think of going shopping at the moment, so on the plus side that will mean more quidco money
    • I have checked quidco and they are sending me £5 this month, which is the first payment I have had for a while
    • I managed to use coupons for 75 points during my mini spree at Tesco yesterday
    • 2 piggy clicks today
    • I had free lunch, coffee and snacks in work today
    • The M&S cava deal is back on:D
    • my washing is done and dried
    • my room is looking tidier
    • I made a payment to cc
    • I am feeling better
Let's hope December is the perfect antidote to November:j

I was on the phone the other day trying to deflect a sales call & turned round to see the boss wearing a pirate hat & brandishing a cutlass :rotfl:.

He was late . International talk like a pirate day is September the 19th :D

That's great, Sarahb. Loads of positives there! Obviously the good karma of December is impacting already :D

Hoping that Bowski's car can be fixed cheaply and Lula's wages have come through.

Quite a good day here. Got some good feedback from my boss (he may be ill , but I'll take it) and got £45 from Quidco. £40 from Be broadband, which I have already, but certainly didn't purchase in August , but again I'll take it. Also, £5 from Equifax for my credit report. £45 -> Mr Barclaycard :D

Now I'm going to put it on my Christmas list....I'd really like Vodafone to pay out the £90 that's been on there since June! I've raised a ticket already and I'd like it before 2010. Have you raised a ticket for your RAC money, Sarah?

Not yet, to be honest I hate all the faffing around, I like things to be easy and hate having to do any work. I know one thing, I won't be going near the RAC for anything ever again:mad:. I think I will raise one if it doesn't show by the end of the year but am worried by things I have seen on here about the RAC never paying out and wonder if it is worth the hassle. I will give it one try and see what happens.

Lula, hope you managed to get your pay sorted out today.

Shoe Gal, hope you are feeling better today.

I joined the RAC through quidco in Sep and they paid last week - sorry if this annoys you but just confused by their lack of consistency! you'd think they would pay the oldest ones first or not pay any...

It's December in a few hours thank goodness. I know exactly how you feel and it's horrible, it's just one of those things you have to plough through.. Not much help I know, but hopefully your mood will lift soon. It sounds like you have forgotten how fab you are :naughty:.

Did you have a go at writing a 100 things to do list last year? You could start one for 2010, even if you only manage to get 10 things down today, just thinking about what you want and getting it written down can help you focus and start feeling a bit more positive.

  • Glad Sarah's car is well again, fingers crossed for Bowski's and for Lula's payday. And thank you Sarah for reminding me about the washing I forgot to take out this morning :o

Well my day's been OK - and have managed to get about half my Christmas shopping sorted. Sent everyone an email asking if they have any ideas or would rather have a surprise, and have had suggestions from all but one - most of it from Amazon which makes things even easier :j. Plus have passed on suggestions in return which should hopefully mean pressies are much wanted therefore v MSE :D.

Baby steps good plan... must rescue FlyLady book from friend I lent it to last year.
