Those links refer to the older 3000/3500 series, The latest models and the one at Asda is the 5500.

I am spitting bullets!! I was in Asda Govan yesterday about 4pm and called about 7pm too and was advised that there were no t.v.'s left, only to find out on this forum that they have sold one after I enquired. You would not believe that one person could turn the air so blue. I am only glad there is noone in the house to hear me.

I got the last one at Altrincham but I rang Ellesmere Port, amongst many others. :beer:

Very disappointed all round, and a bit suspicious that Asda staff were not exactly honest with me.
We then popped round to an independent retailer who often have great deals, but the same TV there was £899!!!

I'm glad others have struck lucky, though!

More like he fobbed you off yesterday, and brought it himself for £350 and then probably used his discount card as well:rolleyes:

Nice one. was going to go here this afternoon after I went to the Asda near the trafford cetre where they are £600 (non-left, getting them in next week) If only I'd shot down the road from our house

I went down to Altrincham but couldnt bring myself to buy it at £600 after it had been £400. The store manager wouldnt reduce the price to £400

I know how you feel ! I phoned ASDA Govan at 10 am friday morning and was told they were none in stock !!! GRRRR
