Sony TV at Asda

Anyone contemplating a new TV.
Asda have dropped a Sony 37" lcd model W5500 from £800 to £400.Cheapest price I can see it anywhere is £759 on Amazon.
Buy the blue ray player ( sony) for £175 and get the £80 stand free.
This is a 5star telly. 100hz , lcd , motionflow , everything. You can even sync it with your laptop and play pictures off your laptop wirelessly through the tv.
It is still £almost £800 on the asda website. Price is instore
Simply a stunning deal. Must be a mistake.
Good luck.

Noticed they had Samsung & Sanyo 26" & 32" tvs for under £300 in Asda the other day. Was VERY tempted but as usual, I like to think about these things first & by the time I'd walked around a couple of isles, they only had two 26" ones left!

Incredible if you can get one. Our store only does cheapy no-name TVs. :o
  • The Manchester store was the one opposite the Trafford Centre.
Asda Havant is about 5 miles N of Portsmouth. Bought mine tonight , boxed and brand new.

If you are interested ; get into your local Asda first thing.

    Good Luck.

I live near an Asda and John Lewis store.
John Lewis price match and give a free 5 year guarantee with the TV's they sell, so will check out if it's a model no. that they sell.
  • i got the last one from asda pilsworth (bury greater manchester) last night.but they did have one on display which they said they would be selling off even cheaper.
worth a go for somebody as it was in good condition.
