Thanks for the reply. I should have read the thread properly. Here I was thinking there was a better one than the mentioned Sony for the price.

Anyway thanks again to the OP..... managed to pick up the last one at Pudsey branch this morning

Cheers Uncle Nick. Managed to pick one of these up last night at Glasgow Fort after reading your post. They had one left. Didn't think they had many to begin with, so 'be quick' is the theme for this one.

Cracking TV, with all the features, which will go perfectly in our living room.

    Thanks again.

extra £100 will get u this sony. much.... much better picture, bigger screen too

That's as may be, but just under £300 is a 'considered purchase' for us. There is no way we could stretch to £400!

So £300 for such big names is a bargain in my book.:)

Richer Sounds have some good deals on 32” Samsungs, Toshibas etc.

They have one from each manufacturer under £300, plus a Sony 32” @ £349.99 if you can stretch an extra £50.

Good luck Boozer, a stunner for the price. I can't understand why they went as low as £400??
It is electric and not gas isn't it??

You've left a woman in charge of buying your TV?

I know its a risk, but i am moving into my flat in a week and i need absolutly everything as the only thing i own is the flat itself, have been looking online for one but this seems good, was looking for a 42" but can always put this in the bedroom if i am not happy with it.

BUT the only reason she has gone for it is the fact i am thousands of miles away.

hopefully its not an american one and runs off 110 volts.

Asda in Elgin do not have any, but the wife says there is a nice fajitsumakawasiki 35" for cheap.

I told her to put the money back in her pocket and leave the store immediatly.
