Hi Angie,
I hope it all goes well for you on Monday, but even if you don't get to keep the car, not all is lostWe bought an eight year old diesel people carrier off ebay for £1100. It had only done just over 70,000 miles and was very good mechanicaly. The bodywork was quite dented in places, but I knew my OH would add to them, so no problem (it took her three weeks!).

Hope everything goes ok on Monday Angie. I'm sure you'll be fine
You know where I am. Take care. xx

My OH bought a car on ebay for £1,000 last year and it was in beautiful condition and we haven't had to have any work done on it since then. So if your parents feel they can't help with your current car maybe you could get another one.

:j Update...
We are keeping our car and parents have bought it back from OR for us. :j
Guy that came was really fair and reasonable in his value of the car and gave me the maximum allowance possible at his discretion.
In fact he was a lovely man who chatted to us about BR and what it has involved. He offered some good advice and said we were welcome to ring him anytime, if there was anything he could help us with he would. What a nice man, shame on me for getting tearful again but there will come a day when I can talk about our BR without crying !!:o
Well another hurdle over, just the house to sort now.......
Thanks to everyone on here who posted with advice and kind words :A
