Farmfoods have some fantastic offers and I agree it would be much more beneficial to actually use the voucher at the farmfoods store, I went to Lidl yesterday and picked up some bargains will try netto next, it strikes me some of tesco staff are gloating at this coupon ban, my friend went in yesterday she hadn't even reached the till and the SA said you can't come in here using coupons, well I wished she'd said it to me would have had a right go there is no need for that attitude, anyway I am keeping away now and finding other outlets0

Ive managed to convince family members and work collegues to boycott tescos, not only for groceries but petrol to. Hope the profits go down over the next 4 weeks and maybe , just maybe they may introduce the policy again.0

I’m not sure why so many people are saying that they are going to shop at Asda now. Becoz, Asda's prices are better than Tesco for most of the like for like products.
They stopped accepting vouchers ages ago. No, they stopped accepting coupons on Friday 2/10/09. Why is there so much more anger being directed at Tesco? It was not directed to Tesco initially, it was to .............. you know who. Asda seems no different to me.
Asda, Morrisons (only the BOGOF products), Lidl, Netto & Aldi are way cheaper than Tesco anytime.
Anyway guys lucky you if you live in South :- BETTER THAN TESCO!!!

1,666 might not sound that much but if it took 10 Pedigree coupons to make £20 that's 16,660 coupons + any others pdf's etc. I think 16,660 would be a pretty big pile and the cash office would've noticed that many pretty quickly. I don't think a till holds too many at a time. SA's would be needing to get their tills emptied more frequently which would flag up to the team leaders.
In Dudley, before they had coupon only tills open, they were putting the coupons into carrier bags!Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -
Some great bargains in Lidl today: a litre of good olive oil for £1.99, Pilgrim's choice mature cheddar 400g £1.99, 1/2lb butter @ 59p, 6 cans of diet Pepsi for a £1 and loads of lovely fruit and veg. at bargain prices. I remember reading once that T's make a fortune on their fruit and veg and now I can see that it's true.
Re: petrol I always buy this at Asda as they are always cheaper in this area, even when T's have 5p off vouchers. When that happens the price in T's inches up by 2 or 3p a litre just before the promotion and then they come out with their '5p' off if you spend £50 - they must think we're stupid
Sainsbury's tomorrow perhaps?0 -

I remember reading that, Sher, and couldn't believe the crass stupidity of any Manager not seeing what was happening under his/her nose! Tim-nice-but-Dim must have got the Manager's job via the old boys' network, I guess?
There are some very naive/stupid people promoted higher than they can cope with at Tesco (and all large organisations IMHO).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is all well and good Tesco withdrawing the coupons and amending their policy but they appear to lack consistantcy.
I bought the Sun on saturday and the girl at the checkout said 'you can use the waitrose voucher for tesco- we'll accept the waitrose ones'.
That came from Tesco express in bristol. Dont know if it is up to certain store managers or areas but the girl made a point of telling me it could be used!!

NEVER MIND, TESCO CAN NOW BE USED AS TOILET ROLL IN MY OPINION.
