I leave you all for a weekend away and when i get back tesco's have stopped accepting vouchers and there was about 40 pages to catch up on :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:So after many hours spread over 3 days i have finally caught up on the thread :T:T:T:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
What can i say that hasn't been said alreadymum an myself will be boycotting tesco's for sure (apart from using the last 2 petrol vouchers):D:D:D:D:D
I know we will not be doing a 15-20 min drive to the nearest tescos we are allowed in;);) to pay ridiculously high prices. In our town we have an asda, aldi, lidl, a big an a little co-op a somerfield petrol station and about 10 mins away a larger somerfield store. Plus at the end of the month we have a new shopping centre opening which will have a wilkinsons in an there's talk of an m&s food and poundland coming into the town aswell :j:j:j:j:j
I ventured into our local Aldi for the first time yesterday and had a great shopping trip and grabbed lots of bargains aswell as some luxury items at very reasonable prices :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So all i have to say is tesco who :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Why don't the affected manufacturer's join forces and sue the ar*e* off Tesco.
What kind of country do we live in when a supermarket chain is a superpower?
I will not shop in Tesco for the time being and although I have been very grateful for the money coupon use has saved me in the long run I will probably save a fortune by not picking up all the extras I could have lived without in the first place!!
I am quite looking forward to changing my shopping habits and I hope Tesco suffer because of this, mainly for their greed in accepting coupons in the first place. I have been using coupons in Teaco this way for over 15years now!!
Un fortunately we don't have a Sainsburies in our town but the nearest one does have the same policy,as long as they sell the product they accept the coupon.
It is Tesco, the store that everyone loves to hate! If they hadn't ammended their policy, you would still be happily passing over coupons, even with the knowledge of Tesco 'breaking the rules' Also, I take it you will be back there shopping with coupons at the ready if they re introduce the coupon policy.
If customers want to boycott Tesco, fair play to them. If they want to shop there, fair play to them. But to winge about how Tesco are way out of line, then happily go along with this, makes me wanna go GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRR:D0 -

I've only been to Tesco once since Friday and that was to return a bottle of reduced milk that was off. I paid 89p for it and got a refund of £1.78. Some sort of irony there! :rotfl:
Apart from that have been shopping in Waitrose using the £5 off vouchers and buying their lovely reduced items.
Unfortunately in this area we only have the "big" supermarkets - Tesco, Morrisons, ASDA, Sainsburys and, a little way away, Waitrose. There are none of the cheaper stores anywhere close.
Not quite sure yet what I'll do when Waitys vouchers are all used.0 -
I did my first shop at Waitrose today using the £5 off £30 spend, what a pleasant surprise.
It wasn't as expensive as I'd expected and the sales girl smiled at me and was really friendly, I was so shocked and taken aback by this unusual approach(well I have been shopping exclusively at T's for some years) I checked my purse and valuables before leaving the store but no all was well nothing missing, not a ploy as I first thought.
Any ideas if the current bun are doing these again this weekDidn't bother last Sat as was not expecting to go to Waity's but got me trip & moc's planned for Saturday and no £5 vouchers vouchers
Extra insurance should any of me moc's be refused.....First time in Waity's so bit hesitant.....
Like starting again really
:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!

I shall be returning to T's to complain about various products and ask for my 'money' back! Never used to bother but shall be a cereal complainer now I can't use me pik-a-paks there anymore :rotfl:Anything I do buy in future will also be taken back if it is even slightly sub-standard....:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!

I agree PC but I'm not as disappointed as you, I didn't expect people to last 4 days, great idea but in practice people will do what 's cheaper, easier and suits them.
