Strikes me with all the posts re T's that they could do with a shake up somewhere - if they can let scammers get away with £250,000 fraudulent mocs before they notice anything wrong and employ people the likes reported by Dr.Who-Who who have been part of the scamming problem, somebody somewhere needs to wake up!!

I think they need a good training in customer services cos i have seen and been target of some awful behaviour from t's staff. I think there were a gloating squad standing around today as some the trouble causers were quite noticable when i was at the checkout. However, there are still some lovely people who do work there, with more brain the size of a pea. Funny nuf when i went in the garage the service lady was reading something and advised me they had some instructions from h/o about dress, hair and image....... eg hair had to be neat and presentable.....
    SIMPLES!
  • 1st trip to mr T since the new coupon policy, sure enough notices on each till stating the new policy. Can still use conditional spends, SA told me that. So to all you muppets out there, [no not you MM5!!!!]who through misue & greed have spolied it for the majority :mad::mad::mad::mad: I am so angry, I have been couponing for 30yrs!!! & my parents even longer. Wev'e always played by the rules with regard to in date MOC's, no duplicates in any shop & always ask the SA if they are able to take any we may have. Now I am stuck with paying through the nose to shop at Mr T as we have no other supermarket for 12 miles.
Huge Thank yous to all who find all the wonderful MOC's especially PC, honey, vegicar [techie help XX] & everyone who makes this thread a great read. I don't post much, but appreciate all your hard work.xxxxxxxxxx
2011, this will be my year .

It looks like only your store that is doing the offer.
I went to have a look & it is still the same normal price per can  not going again. When to pay for oreo cookies instead with 20p coupons since it is on offer 41p each b4 coupon, my regular lady is not in so I went to this trouty women who hates couponers & I said to her, I bet you are glad now & she said yes it is better for her.

My son works for the Co-op and tips me off by text message when they have mega reduction bargains, then gets his staff discount off as well :D
  • Went to Lidl tonight with a list of shopping i had carefully written out to start using up what ive got in freezer and cupboard. Came to £4.27 for vege and spme ham - ive got enough meals to last for tea for a week out of that spend . ( reminds me of hard times last year when i was asking on another board for recipes to use fish/vege out of freezer - will have to pay that another visit now)
The vege is very cheap there.
breakfast and lunch will be slimfast from the mountain i have from Boots when they did double double 1/2 price glitch.
Trying to remember when i last shopped elsewhere - think i started using coupons round about dads birthday last year mid november as i got lots of lovley things and invited everyone over - but i didnt do firework night using coupons. May do that this year with all the now no good coupons ive printed off they would make a lovley bonfire !

I’m not sure why so many people are saying that they are going to shop at Asda now.

They stopped accepting vouchers ages ago. I don’t remember that they were scammed, or that their voucher acceptance policy was publicised on GMTV.

Why is there so much more anger being directed at Tesco? Asda seems no different to me.

All I can say is, more fool the Managers and staff!!! There is NO WAY this could not have been noticed as it was happening - and it makes me wonder just who was 'in' on the scam.

From what I witnessed at Dudley, I fully agree. I mean they went for only letting you buy groceries and health & beauty products (heck you could not even buy booze, newspapers or magazines) to allowing people to buy anything except lottery tickets, cigs & tobacco, gift cards and phone top-ups over night! Why?! I also noticed that most of the people in the coupon only till queues were staff (never saw them use coupons in the past) and I noticed that a lot of the coupons they were using were pedigree and the pampers one that was being sold on eBay! Smells pretty rotten to me!!!

I for one am boycotting Tesco (can't afford to shop there now anyway). Before I knew about coupons (about a year and a half ago) Tesco only got about 20% of my shopping business, then when I found out about their coupon policy they got 99% of my business and I hardly ever stepped foot into another store. Now they will get 0% of my shopping business and lose my petrol business too (I always got my petrol from them). Today I went to Morrison's for my petrol and even better for me as it was cheaper than Tesco. I will also be sending Sir Terry a very nice and constructive letter via the post marked "personal & confidential", that way he himself should read my letter and not some employee. If we stick together on this one folks we just might get some satisfaction.

As for the conditional spend coupons everyone is rushing off to Tesco to spend, I was wondering, wouldn't it be better to use them in the store that issued it? It just seems to me you will get more for your money to use at least the Farmfoods one at Farmfoods since they are cheaper than Tesco. Just my way of thinking plus Tesco would not get that business which is a bonus during the next 4 weeks. Oh, if they come out with anymore spend & save coupons in the newspaper during this trial period to try to lure us back, well I won't be using them either! The only way they will get my business back will be to re-instate the coupon policy!!;)
Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!
