I'm kind of over worrying, i always do, that i will just run out of energy. I did read some people bought the lucozade runners pack which is like £40 but it seems a lot of kit and i'd be worried about over doing it
Lucozade Shop Promotion Code - Use the promotional code LP286 or BU11 for a good 20% discount..
That running pack is now £29.99 with free delivery
Will may have to ring up to buy it, but can be selected online. Tell them a friend gave it you if they ask.0 -

I'm back (and showered and now full of chinese food
) from my second session with NS Poly running club. Tonight we ran from Monkseaton into Cullercoats, then got split into groups again. We had an easy run along the top road above the beach, then walk down the ramp onto the beach, then a hard run across the sand and up the steep ramp on the other side and then an easy job back to the start! We were to take it in turns leading the hard run so I went first. And by the time I got to the other side of the beach for the steep ramp my legs and lungs were screaming! OMG it was soooo hard!
Then we had a 1 minute recovery before we had to do it again! We didn't do a third - well not quite - we had to run along the top down to the bottom of the ramp and then back up. And then a jog back to the clubhouse. Just under 5 miles in total in 1 hour.
My calves were really feeling the pain tonight and I'm knackered now :rotfl:Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.0 -
jpwhittle- hope you make a quick recovery, look after yourself and take it easy.
A nice 4.36miles yesterday eve (8.54/mile), planned to run this morning but woke with nasty sore throat and feel awful. Have had a quiet day today (or as quiet as possible with 2 children!) but still feel grotty and hurts to eat!!!! Hoping will be short lived and can get out at weekend.
Well done K_bagpuss- so impressed(Family of 5: 2 adults & 3 children aged 7yrs, 4yrs, and 18months)0 -
Looking at the 'Kilomathon', its not cheap. £29.50 to enter.
Hmm...i need some £10 events.. or some bookies to give me some more free cash.0 -
Hey guys,
I went back to the running club tonight (the first time I've been able to go in two weeks due to work ). I ran a mile, in bits, which is an improvement.I just need to sew all my pieces together and keep going. (It should be easier as I've asked work to give my Mon & Thu evenings off so I can go to the running club.)
In other news, I went to the doctor and asked about my knee. He pushed it back and forth a bit and said there was basically little to go on for the minute, but my knee is definitely not right after running this evening. I'm not crippled or anything, but I want to know what it is in order to make sure I don't get that way. I'm going back, but what do I do? Ask for a referral to a specialist or is that overkill?I've never gone back over something before!
Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???
No More Buying DVDs: ???
NMB Toiletries ??? and I've gone back for my Masters at the University of Use Ups!
Proud to be dealing with her debts 1198~

Ive found a VLM place for £850, its a charity etc.
Reading through the terms, apparently they will put me on a charity blacklist if i fail to meet the full amount. Well thats not too bad as i might never want to run the VLM ever again..
Its on eBay..0 -
