Good Luck Linda.. It will be tough out there, but I am sure you will be pleased....
Not long Lurkio....:T
Fed up, running will naturally improve your muscle tone. But any sort of cross training is good so that your muscles dont adapt to one form of exercise. I cycle loads and I struggled to adapt to running, but doing the both together really helps. Swimming next for me......then iron mans!Sealed Pot Challenge 2013: No 1898

I'm back!
It was warm and VERY busy. Great atmosphere as always, I turned up clutching 2 numbers as they'd sent me 2 race packs. One was red and the other green. When I learned that green was elite it was very quickly discarded
I've no idea what my time was yet but I hope it's faster than when I did it last year (my first ever race)
EDIT: chip time was 1:13:45 - 9 minutes faster than last year. :T
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
