yay you matched my distance!! whoop!!! think i need to stick at about that for now as my lungs were busting at the end. weldone to runny bud too. are you working more on time than distance?
am sat out in the sun dog sitting, contemplating getting off my arris and going out, although i dont know anywhere around here so a 4 miler on realbuzz may turn into 10!!!
welldone everyone for getting out and going for it. Skint, those endorphins really do kick in. stick with it!!!debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
We are working on time rather than distance for her, P, simply because it is easier to guage by using the watch rather than trying to guess whether we have run 400m!
She is doing really well, and I hope she continues. Apart from anything, it gets me out there too and even though I am not pushing myself, it is all helping my fitness, which has to be a good thing!
The 6 miles + was hard last night, but am glad I did it - will try and do that sort of distance again on Friday evening when I get chance to run on my own again.

Hi Linda,
Glad your PR is doing well.
Hypno and Pania are putting me to shame! abandoned at 4 miles last night as I was struggling, but to be honest, I should have kept going....oh well. No run tonight, just a big dinner at the local french restaurant!
will do 10k tomorrow., as Pania says the most important thing is ....no pain in the knees!
well done Fedup, if you can manage a really early run it does set you up for the day......it doesnt suit me, but others swear by it....i would just swear!;)
good luck all you

Well I'm running the Leeds Jane Tomlinson 10k tomorrow. Hope it's not too warm.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Good luck to everyone running today!
I've been out with running buddy - 7 miles all in, of which 5.7 was run/walk with her, then I just run to and from hers as well.
It is very hot out there - blue skies and sunshine are very lovely, but boy does it make those hills even harder!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
