It is still hot and sticky here - we are in desperate need of a storm to clear the air - so I was in two minds about heading out, but I did, and I did 6.3 miles in 67 mins, so am more than happy with that - it is the furthest I have been since London 2009!!!

Also, found out today that there is a parkrun starting up a few miles away next month. So I will definitely be taking advantage of that one!

Heading out tomorrow morning with running buddy for 50 mins of run/walk which will do me nicely.

Have a good weekend everyone and happy running!

    Hello people! :D

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I'm ok thanks, not been running as much as I would have liked but the Bradford parkrun is going from strength to strength, we had 101 runners last Saturday and Paul Sinton Hewitt himself will be starting our 10th July run!

I think it's nice when one gets big that another splinters off in a nearby area.
I've booked the Bradford Bulls to run with us on 14th August

Well done you :T Feeling tired is not a bad thing - it shows that you have worked harder than usual!!

The tiredness will be replaced as you progress, as those lovely endorphins kick in, and you will feel more energised as a result :D

I went out with running buddy today - ran to hers (7 mins) did 40 mins run 3/walk 1 and then ran back home. All in all about 4.5 miles done so am happy with that.

We are heading out again tomorrow - it will be her longest one so far, 70 mins - 4 mins run, 2 mins walk.
